I had 2 cotton sweater (it's actually from Men's) and I just throw in the washing machine (I put it inside laundry bag). I even put in dryer...but the sweater is a bit loose to begin with so I'm ok even if it strink a little.
I also tried using washing machine for wool scarf. I hand wash a bit in cold water (with woolen laundry liquid) , then put in a laundry bag and put in the washing machine, just turn on the spin function. The scarf would then become pretty dry. I just lay flat to let it completely dry. Smell good and clean. I also clean my wool sweater this way.
I order a silk blouse and shirt dress (still deciding the two), will pick up tomorrow. I think for silk I will take to dry clean.
So glad there is thread of RTW discussion. Could this turn to a master thread of people sharing pics and thoughts on LV RTW? I'd love that. I also plan to branch out this year to luxury RTW. Been eyeing on the boots for awhile.
I have worn LV RTW for years. RTW is very well made and stands up to regular wear and dry cleaning. I have classic pieces that are still great quality after 5-10 years of regular wear.
ohh this is so helpful thank you! I’m a bit obsessed with cleaning so not being able to wash the clothes frequently and only dry cleaning made me a little worried so it’s nice to know they hold up well even after washing.
wow that’s amazing, that’s so good to know because I’m not a very careful person so I wasn’t sure if RTW would be a waste in my care lol.
Thank you! I like this dress can be wear as a coat if open up, and also very forgiving as I gain much weight recently, requires no alteration. I was also interested in the same style shirt (it's called cloud balloon sleeve shirt) but the one I order is too small.
