Yeah... not applicable to OP, but I think it's crappy to try and return a bag you had hot stamped considering they warn you it's non-returnable about a million times before they do it. For the few items I've hot stamped, I never do it the day I buy the bag, just in case. In OPs case where you bought it online, that's tough.

Still I think it’s crazy considering it’s on a hang tag. But who am I to say, I’m new to LV.
They actually never warn me about it being non returnable but I am a frequent shopper there. The SA somehow convinced me into getting it hot stamped but it’s ok. I think I will grow to love it. I may not be use to how large the handbag is since I’ve been wearing crossbody handbags. I knew it was a year old thread but I had googled and figured I post since I was curious. I know this thread is from like 3 years ago but thought I episode post anyway! I bought my first LV bag the other day and stupid me got the key tag on the Alma hotstamped. I was also never made aware by anyone in Louis Vuitton that I could t return it when it had been hotstamped! However the tag etc was damaged when I got it so can I just return the bag anyway if they need to put a new non hot stamped tag on it?
Yes I got it from an LV store and the tag it came with was not broken in store. However when I took it out the bag and attached the tag to the bag the leather came apart.
The may be able to fix the leather part or replace the tag but I don’t know if they will take it back if it’s been personalized…that piece was part of the bag so it’s not so easy to just put a new tag on as you state…
