LV Resellers.... Japan?

I just received my LV Cartouchiere bag today. I love it so much. It was very clean. I had gotten it from brand-works Japanese seller on eBay and had it authenticated here. They sent it out on Monday and I received it today!!!!!
There's a water? Stain on the strap by the buckle and I'm trying to figure out how to reduce the stain. I've tried Mr. Clean heavy duty eraser (along with an eraser) to try to lighten it.
Any recommendations?

I've been reading on tPF that Apple care conditioner should help with my problem. I have since purchased a set consisting of Apple care cleaner/conditional/cloth. I should be receiving it in a few days. :)

does anyone have experience with japan_monoshare? i have purchased from them before and it was happy. I Recently wanted to purchase something from them again, but I got a message saying I have no permission to bid on their item... i'm confused, why would this happen?

Could you have possibly given them negative feedback? Sometimes if a seller sees you buy stuff from them a lot and then resell it; they will block you from bidding on their items. They would also do this if you sent them numerous messages through eBay in the past.

Thank you for your reply:smile: I purchased the first pre-loved Louis Vuitton from thema while ago, it was absolutely a happy transaction and I gave them positive feedback... that was only second time I wanted to buy from them last week. I have heard some members on tPF sent them a message then they got blocked... but I never sent them any messages. so confused :confused1:

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it. eBay cant help you either. At one time I sold many items on eBay; and as I sold items, I would purchase something I would rather have instead with the cash I made. Well I bought one item from this particular seller (I think I paid $300); well once this seller saw I was also selling she blocked me from purchasing further items from her. IDK why she did that. I kept the item I bought from her.
Take it as a loss on their part and give your business to another seller.
I bought a number of items from brand-works and have been very pleased with everything I purchased from them so far. They are also very fast with shipping.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I listed some bags that I no longer use on eBay, like Ferragamo, Valentino bags, funding for new bags. I don't understand why they block people who is selling their own items...

Anyway, yeh, I've been buying from some other Japan sellers, they are really nice and have good communication, definitely recommend brand-work :)

I plan to buy my first Speedy and I'm so in love with the epi line. Going preloved since epi speedy isn't available new anymore. I've been stalking this particular ebay seller from Japan but I'm not really sure with the price. What do you think is the reasonable price for Epi Speedy 30 in excellent condition (8.5/10) from 2004 made in France? How much would you pay for that? Thank you!

I'm from Canada and I have had nothing but amazing experience buying from Japanese sellers on eBay. I've purchased from them twice and the bags were in immaculate condition! Just bought a vintage speedy 25 for $500 and it look like its never been used! The shipping was also VERY fast, I received my items within a week! The sellers were kind enough to declare them as gifts and not indicate the actual amount so I did not get charged duties. For reference one item was $500 as mentioned above and the other was $1100.

I highly recommend you to try out a Japanese seller, they're very nice and very accommodating [emoji4]

Hi, i'm also in Canada! Which seller did you use?

Hello there fellow tpf members! I'm also in Canada and was wondering if anyone has purchased from the eBay seller: komehyo I see that they have a good positive feedback, and I've seen some people post that they got stuff from them but for some reason I can't find it anymore when I search the forums. I found a beautiful vintage Alma PM I would like to purchase but a little hesitant because this is my first time purchasing from a Japanese seller. I was also wondering if anyone got dinged for customs being from Canada. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

My item was $200, seller listed as "used cowhide bag" but listed the price from auction, delivery service was DHL, got charged duty totalling $45.

I'm from Canada (Calgary, AB) and I purchased a $1250CDN bag from a Japanese seller on eBay. I got charged 10% of the bag so +$125 and the GST on ($1250 + $125) @ 5% GST (only one tax here) plus the $9.95 customs fee thru Canada Post. Hurt a little and didn't make my bag that much more of a deal as I got charged almost $190 more for customs. If they ship thru any other carrier, there are higher customs fees, but mostly Japanese sellers use EMS Post (which will go to Canada Post). I also had purchased a $400CDN bag from another Japanese seller on eBay and I got charged nothing for customs.

I think this is my first post on the forum, hi! I have been lurking for years, but honestly never had a reason to post.

When I decided to jump into it and buy a LV, I figured I wanted to "try out" the brand first with a pre-owned bag. I bought from a Japanese seller. I bought a Speedy 30 in Monogram, and it was classified as an "AB" item. The vachetta seemed a lot lighter in the pictures than it is in real life because of the seller using strong flash. The image showed golden honey vachetta, whereas what I got was brown. The seller has a good return policy and 99,8% positive feedback.I am returning it this weekend. The postage will cost me about £80, ouch! Hard lesson to learn.

Below is a picture comparison of the vachetta of my new Neverfull vs the Speedy. The brown color for some reason does not show well at all in photos. I am not sure if I am being too critical of this bag.

The bag was in great shape for vintage, but it cost me £330, whereas a new one would be £550. I should have purchased brand new. Maybe pre-owned is just not for me!

Just a recommendation....if you reach out to the seller and tell them that the actual item looks different from what was purchased and show them pictures, they might pay for shipping. You can also reach out to ebay to dispute this. Good luck with the return.
