This is a tough choice for me! I own the Pochette Metis, but I'm absolutely in love with the Bolide! I'm currently saving up to get one as my last/"holy grail" bag. In this instance, I'm going to go against the grain and suggest that you go for the Metis, depending on how badly you want it. It's so difficult to locate one brand new and it's even tough to find on the pre-owned market. If you really want the Metis you should probably scoop it up while you can, or else you might not be able to find one. I feel the Bolide might be more readily available so you could get the PM, use it for a while and if you get tired of it sell it to get money towards your Bolide! If you're comfortable with the idea of passing up the Metis knowing that you might not get a chance to get one then go for the Bolide.

I also meant to mention previously: If you're still in the hunt, e.g., checking out different designers and various bags, then don't jump on the Bolide just yet--unless you're absolutely sure it's what you want.

However, if you're still jumping around, "maybe the Gabrielle, or the Speedy 25...how about the Gucci Disco. Maybe I'll just stick with this Coach for a while", then don't buy anything just yet.

Another thing I've noticed with the Bolides is that they are extremely overpriced for what they are. The current models and leathers are almost the price of a B/K, and the older/used ones are 50-75% of those prices! They are indeed a lovely bag, but wow...the pricing!

Needless to say, you won't get any of that feeling with the LV PM. A limited edition Speedy maybe. Sofia Coppola perhaps. But not a PM.

Wow, 86% for the Bolide. Doesn't seem to reflect current market trends :p.
Thanks to everyone who responded!
I have gone with the Bolide and patiently waiting for it now. Don't miss the PM or regret passing on it, so I am confident it is the right choice.
Btw, comments on how cumbersome it is to have the various compartments really resonated with me. I never enjoyed using the PS 1 and the Celine Trio for that reason and I much prefer a one single space kind of bag. Funny how one can be prone to repeat mistakes.
