LV Pochette Metis - Monogram or Reverse?

I've had a reverse before but now have a mono. The reverse PM I found hard to make it work with my clothes. I was ending up admiring it more than using it. Think its because it has a more masculine vibe to it. Mono version I can wear it with whatever almost. I like personlising it with bandeau's, it goes with all colours and patterns unlike the reverse. It's hard choice because reverse is nice and unique and it has that "Limited" appeal to it. It's easy to get carried away with knowing it's a hard to get bag. But for me because I've owned it before it just wasn't the bag for me.

This is easy for me Bc I don’t like the monogram at all. I ordered one online ad took it to the store to return and when I did, they had a reverse there. I asked to see it Bc I never liked the pics, and fell in love! Reverse all the way. The first day I used it there was an unexpected downpour; too. It is gorgeous and no vachetta.

Agree and don't agree. From having the older version and now having the newer it appears they have done something different with glazing ( I do not know that for sure - just comparing in my mind). I mean definitely time will tell. Problem is I don't use my bags daily - rotate every day to something different. So the time will tell could be awhile from now.

I vote monogram. Like some have stated, i don’t think the reverse will age gracefully and will probably end up looking really dated.

Just around. Not really that interested in LV lately because, quite frankly, the more I see a lot of Virgil Abloh's stuff, the more I think it's some dumb ****. That, along a lot of the typical posts here, and I'm just not feeling it much.

Of course, Dior has been releasing the new Kim Jones stuff and it has been looking really awesome...

I L-O-V-E-D my reverse. Past tense. I took it in a couple of weeks ago and sure enough, the monogram was cracking and the glazing was cracking. I traded it in for a Dauphine. The day I returned it I took my vintage purse in for a new strap (the dog ate it). Since it was from French Company, they couldn't repair it. I'll be rocking it with this chain strap from now on. I have never seen a French Company bag like mine. The manager said they rarely see them.

I got the reverse last month, but my first love is the monogram, my SA was able to find me a monogram and I end up getting that bag last Friday. Honestly I like it both so I’m keeping 2 PM reverse and monogram

I got the reverse because I wanted a black leather handle on top vs. the light vachetta.

I got the PM reverse first. After 3 weeks my SA informed me that she got the PM monogram at LV Brisbane Australia store.
