someone just sent me this

edit! I checked Fragrantica and they have the notes pyramid listed differently.
Top: Tuscan Iris, Violet, Green Notes
Middle: Rose, Chinese Jasminum Sambac, Tuscan Iris
Bottom: Acacia, White Musk, Peaches
Wow! Thanks for the details. This sounds lovely indeed- very promising on paper. The level of musk always makes me nervous but hope it’s balanced well with the sweetness of the peach. If the sillage is shorter, I tend to tolerate it better. Can’t wait for your personal review!

I've worn it for three days now. When I first spray it it has a strong musky iris and greens scent. I didn't care for it. However, it dries down nicely. It leaves a nice powdery floral scent. The sillage is on the shorter side, so hopefully you'll like it.

Thank you for letting me know how it wore on you. Sounds encouraging but I guess I have a few more days until launch date before I have access to it. Not sure if I would have the patience for the top notes to dry down to get to the good stuff or if that first whiff would be enough to turn me off. Good thing they come with samples before I commit. You’ve been most helpful.

I got a sample today when I picked up the Baxter leash (:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love: FINALLYYYYY after 5 years I got one!!!:love::love::love::love:)
to me it smells great, but not great enough to justify a purchase (especially as I want to buy sables roses, too). I stays - as all LV perfumes - really long on my skin and it strongly reminds me of "Paris" from YSL mixed with the old "champagne" from YSL. On my skin the scent is really flowery, a little bit sweet, more heavy than light and definetly a scent for a woman 30+ years, not a young scent, more on the mature side without smelling "old". It would surely be a perfect autumn scent and a good perfume for the opera or a formal dining. Compared to clothes, it would look like a Zimmerman dress ;) If it would be a person, it would be her at that age#https://media.vogue.de/photos/59f9f...rts_48th_golden_globes_awards_januar_1991.jpg

Ahhh, perhaps I'll buy it, though.
So perhaps that helps for those who don't have a store near them.

What a great description. You described it perfectly. I’m happy that you got to try it. Congrats on the Baxter leash. Lucky dog.
