It seems pretty obvious to me, that the Chanel is your HG bag. Even if you bought the LV now, you'd still be looking for the Chanel. And with the price increases every year, it's best to just buy it sooner rather that later down the road!
Besides, a classic flap can be dressed up or down (see below), whereas the NF is just a very casual bag.

That's a tough one. I have both and when thinking if I could only have 1, I struggle.

To be honest, I don't carry my jumbo as much as I should. Simply, it was a large investment am I'm afraid something will happen to it. I'm actually carrying her right now. If there is any kind of inclement weather, I don't carry it. I do have to say I can wear her with everything and she does speak to me and I have no regrets.

On the flip side, I carry my neverful all the time! I purchased the Damier ebene and it's totally care free. I never have concerns about her getting ruined and enjoy the use. I'm sure the price point and material of the bag does play a part in that.

Chanel's prices continue to go on the rise and I'm very happy to have purchased my jumbo a few years ago. I will NEVER sell her as she is an iconic and classic piece that makes me happy and can be passed on to my girls. Good luck with your decision, it's gonna be a tough one!

Great choice. It is a beautiful, classy and classic bag that can be dressed up and down. In addition, the ability to wear it cross-body should be useful when out with your kid(s) (assuming you don't have to lug around a lot of kids stuff).

I was actually disappointed with the crossbody. It sits a lot higher than I like but it still works in a pinch.

Ah I see. Maybe good when you have no choice but to be hands-free. Still, a beautiful piece. So, congrats.

Having said that, a jumbo might have a longer chain for more comfy cross-body wear.
