LV montsouris VS Chanel vintage backpack?

Thank you for the replies. I have no backpacks in my collection currently.
The montsouris was in stock yesterday and when I checked last night it was OOS again. Is it hard to get a hold of?
For the Chanel, I’d have to sell my GST to get the Chanel backpack
For the lv it’s ressonable enough for me to purchase without losing my GST.
I think the LV seems more hard wearing but the Chanel is simply elegant. It’s so tough to decide

A good condition montsouris is hard to come by. It sells very quick.

I have a Montsouris GM that I use daily for going to work. It's a workhorse, extremely comfortable it almost feels like wearing nothing, and it has that "lived in" casualness I enjoy in a backpack. As I type this, the Montsouris MM is on the way to me in the mail pre-loved since I really enjoy this LV backpack style so much with the drawstring. I wanted the MM for not going to work such as shopping or groceries while being totally hands free. I've taken the GM traveling on planes and walking around big cities and it's never let me down.

Well, what is your daily wear? Because the LV Montsouris looks casual and the Chanel looks classier

I would say I’m a bit of both. Not helpful I know! I ended up getting both and sold my
GST. The LV is definitely more casual, and I’m patiently going to wait for the straps to darken the Chanel is unlike anything I’ve ever owned - I hope I can pull it off!

For me it is all about the straps. I prefer the LV when I am wearing dresses, sleeveless shirts, or other warm weather items as I find the leather to be more comfortable than the leather and chain of Chanel. In AC the chain feels cold on my skin. I know this is an odd rationale, but it really does impact which bag I would reach for. In terms of design, the Chanel is more elegant and versatile as it doesn't have the mono pattern all over. But really I would love to have both!

Haha I always shiver whenever I put the ice cold Chanel chain on my shoulder!! [emoji23]

I had exactly same debate last year between Chanel backpack and LV montsouris MM. I ended up getting the LV Montsouris. By now it has been my most used backpack. Compare the strap in vachetta leather with the chain of my Chanel flap, I feel much more comfortable with the vachetta strap. It is hard to pick only one because they are both gorgeous. If you can afford to take both, go for both. These backpack are so practical, classic and elegant.

I think I will defo use LV more as an everyday bag, I’m always out and about with a toddler so it’ll be my go to. The Chanel I can use for when we go out as a family and I can dress up a bit more. It’s not as big as I thought t would be but it’s really cute! Love the 24k!

I thought it was only me who thought the chains feel cold!
