Well the reason I showed her in the first place was because when I initially purchased them many months ago, I had told her my intention to begin with. So.. The opportunity for me to show her was then and there, and how would I have known that it was an issue then. I literally felt like I was building my relationship with the SA or Repairs Associate then, she had insisted that I show it to her when I came back from my trips. And purchasing them as intended is exactly what I did, personalize, hot stamp, or put on my actual LV pieces. Now I have seen and heard that many folks have purchased them without a Luggage from LV, so why should I be discriminated (maybe wrong term) for actually having those purchases, and actually having all the luggage tags. That should show that I am not in the business of reselling. Now, if I was reselling, then that is a different story.
Personally when I got tags I just said I needed to order a replacement and I left it at that, I never give any additional information because I know how strict they are. I remember one user was told no because she showed them a pic from Instagram. I feel like if she hadn't done that, she might have gotten a tag.
I understand their issue is that they don't make money off them and people resell for a profit, so they really only want to get them in the hands of people who genuinely lost them. I think someone else mentioned that because the tags are for luggage LV isn't super keen on them being used on purses. They also don't like when we add clochettes to bags that didn't come with them.
But still, it's definitely nothing worth getting flagged over and I can understand how disheartening it must be to show the SA your pics to prove you aren't a reseller only to have her say now you're banned. I really hope you aren't banned. Maybe the flag is just no more luggage tags.
