It's actually a Speedy 40, not a Keepall. Like someone else has mentioned, Keepalls are size 45 and up, and Speedy's are size 40 and lower. So technically it is a large handbag. Sorry to bring this up and beat a dead horse, it's just bugging me that you keep referring to it as a Keepall lol.Oh gosh, LV luggage is what brought me into LV bags.
Just today, I tried to sell my Keepall 50 in mono to Fashionphile. I thought I was really over mono LV for travel, then my daughter found out what I was trying to do and stopped me. Ha! I might just get the leather replaced and keep it. It's the best car duffle ever.
Also, this red epi Keepall is a 40. Tell yourself it's just a huge handbag, et voila! No more luggage discussion.
Yes, got it now. Sorry for the error! It's actually a Speedy 40, not a Keepall. Like someone else has mentioned, Keepalls are size 45 and up, and Speedy's are size 40 and lower. I also have the Speedy 40, and use it as a handbag, not luggage.
Keepall 40 for your reference. They also have vintage ones online in monogram. I would say youre right about it being a speedy since the leather reinforcement panels on the sides are what make it a keepall or luggage bag.Keepalls are 45 and up, Speedys are 40 and down (or at least that was the general rule until 2019, since they made some special edition Keepalls since then). The Keepalls have the leather strips going around the body of the bag, Speedys only have the little leather tabs connected to the handles. This is what their Keepall 45 looked like with the 2 leather bands.

This was exactly what I was referring to, that after 2019 they made special editions, like this Aerogram, and even mini ones. Before that 40 and down = Speedy, 45 and up = Keepall, these were the rules.Keepall 40 for your reference. They also have vintage ones online in monogram. Still standing corrected (Speedy, not Keepall).
Here is the same Speedy 40 in a 737 (do not know the series number) window seat. It is poking out a bit. I wonder if the flight attendants will make me move it.
It seems to work better in an asile seat.
i thought I posted a pic with my post, I guess it didn't hit.i just recently traveled and your post reminded me of how small seats have gotten. I could barely put by 2 big feet in front of me, let alone a beauiful Vintage Speedy 40 !!
p.s. have u checked out the price of these new 40's lately ??and there's rumours of a price increase 7/1 !!
