To be honest, I'm a little bit disapointed because of the hardware. The colour does not fit and futher the metall looks cheap to me. So I think I will sell everything.

Thank you so much for your returns and comparaison, i worked on my hardware a lot, and have almost change them all, and now produce my own hardware in a more golden color and some in 24K. Customers reviews helped me a lot on this.

Same! Just glad I can work from home. I saw you have the pochette metis. BTs are sending me one today! Did you do anything in particular to protect/waterproof the vachetta? It’ll be my first bag with vachetta on it. The Patina Champ method looks good if I there was any sun for it to left in!!

You’ll be waiting a while for any sign of sun!
I used collinil water stop spray on the vachetta on my PM and also my bumbag. Works a treat as the first time I used the PM it lashed, surprise, and the water literally ran off the bag. Best of luck with your new bag- it’s a great one to have!

Thanks for the advice! Yeah you’re pretty much guaranteed it’ll rain, especially if you really don’t want it to! Did the spray affect the patina? I don’t like light vachetta so I’m hoping for it to darken ASAP. How did you stop the spray from getting on the canvas? I’ve seen some people suggest kitchen roll...thanks, so many questions!

I just wrapped the bag in towels so that only the vachetta was visible. I gave it two coats of the spray protector, let it dry and then used it as normal. I did the same with my bumbag, which I got in October, and you can see the difference in the leather handle already.

Hi All, just received a MPA in DE today and i noticed the hardware colours on the zip and chain are different. Not a huge issue for me, but just wondering if this is normal?

Thats normal. I don't understand it either but you'll see it on many bags.
