“Off topic and provoking” - been following this drama silently (as there’s nothing really I’m stalking for anymore) but I don’t think it’s fair. When you think about it, this thread was born organically from us chatting on the other one so it’s not like we haven’t tried to create a separate space for it.

it’s just that sometimes when you’re stalking you happen to chat about the items as well, don’t think it’s necessarily off topic per se. That being said, there probably are other people who don’t post Much and exclusively just have the notifications turned on just for the “atb” comments. Which is pointless anyway because on the really hot items it’s sold out by the time you can see the post...

Anyways, I’m more than happy to keep chatting - Whether it’s here or there or somewhere else!

This show goes on - I have just seen that all our posts in the Stalking EU Edition thread have been deleted or edited by the moderators such that the whole chit chat was removed and only the atb information was left. I have expressed what I felt about it - I find it unfair that we are not allowed to exchange some comments on the searched items and ways to get them or to express our opinion although we stalk the items the whole time and post the information atb many times a day. Five minutes after I have posted it, my post was deleted by the moderator with the comment it were off topic, not respectful and provoking.

To be honest, I feel that the way the thread and our comments are treated by the moderators is not respectful and really provoking - otherwise I would not have written this comment - our comments are deleted, for the most part even without a notification that they were deleted, or edited - and the main part of the comments does relate to the stalked items, ways to get them, and best times or tips to stalk. It really demotivates me to stalk the items and post them atb.

I think we all knew the posts would be deleted, but to edit people's posts to just take out the chit-chat parts?? What kind of forum is this really? Our posts are our personal opinions and thoughts, and if they feel that they have the right to edit whatever, whenever, without talking to the original poster beforehand that's absolutely not okay, no matter what the post is about. Just delete the whole post - don't edit it!
I see so many actual disrespectful and mean posts on this forum that don't get deleted, yet us telling the moderators we're not happy with what they're doing is suddenly disrespectful and provoking? I'm not judging them on a personal level since I don't know them and they shouldn't take it personal, but I just don't see the point in applying that kind of unnecessary censorship on posts that aren't offensive nor derogatory? We should be allowed to critique them without instantly having our posts deleted for being "disrespectful". This is not North Korea after all.

I think, a solution would be if the forum staff would integrate a function „send a notification via email if the following keywords are mentioned in the post“ and the people who are not interested in the chit chat could enter „atb“. Then we could chit chat while posting items in stalk and the others would get their notifications.
Such a function would make much more sense than the recent forum updates where they have installed spamming advertisements with „get 20% off on brand X etc.“ that really annoy me because this forum is based on user-generated content where we are trying our best - for free - to contribute to the forum by commenting or answering questions or posting the items atb and should not be - as a „reward“ - bothered by these ads.

Okay - nothing has changed since yesterday (not sure why I thought anything should): I have been stalking the htf items the whole day today and posting really many of them atb today as the restock has been good. Three of my posts in the Stalking Thread are deleted again
as they were considered to be comments and not atb information. I think I will now also stop posting anything atb in that thread.

I’ve written a couple of long rants to the moderators just last week. I said that some discussion helps people find their htf items. It certainly did for me when I first joined and so I like to return the favour.

People can choose to ignore alerts that are not atb. I do it for many of the threads, as I pick and choose what I want to engage in or not. I explained that to them and that many posters who used to post no longer bother.

The policing of late has got really bad. I even told them I’d noticed they’d deleted some of my posts without the notifications, which was pretty sneaky, but not missed by me. But editing people’s actual posts just leaving atb as they did to @Helllooo posts yesterday was a new low!

It seems they’re not going to change and I guess it’s their platform and they can run it how they want. We have little choice in the matter. We either choose to accept it or not. That’s the reality, but a real shame as I miss the banter with many of the ladies that used to be here.

(well before it got deleted that is..) or do you think they'd just delete it straight away and point us to the already existing censored thread? Should we care enought to try and make a new one?

I don’t think they’ll delete if it’s set up for that purpose. Worth a try.

I have stopped watching the other thread. And will not post in it anymore. It’s dead to me. What they did is disgusting and completely illegal. Either you delete completely either you leave it! But deleting comments in the first place is just ridiculous, honestly there are better things to do than this IMO. And I see that @MarryMeLV_Now has been silenced a lot again today!
Yes a thread EU STALKING HTF AND CHIT CHAT ABOUT HTF is great idea.
