Question: Do you sometimes step away from bags because of your age?! Sounds silly I know...

what I mean: I thought about the palm springs mini and use it as a real backpack on my back :giggle: (I dont like the straps of the larger version) Or Inthink about buying a Neverfull with rose ballerin interior

Now the PSM is so small and I am afraid I am „too big“( sizewise )for it and it looks ridiculous and I am too old for it ... and the pink interior is pretty but I don‘t really wear pink and it is so girly .... that keeps me from it
I am in my mid thirties ....
btw how old are you ladies?!

Definitely not too old for a backpack, I do believe that you can rock anything at any age as long as it actually suits your style :) (or not;)
Rose ballerine has never really been ‘my color’ but i have never looked at a lady and thought she is too old for this pink bag interior!;)

I’m in my mid thirties as well, i only just realised my nickname on here might be somewhat misleading!;)

Hey darling. I totally feel you on this one. I love the PSM, but im turning 31 in 2 months and i thought exactly the same. Maybe a little "too cool" for my age, but on the otherhand i should just buy it if i like it!!.
I dont really like the straps on the PM either but it would suit my lifestyle better with my 3yo kid when we are on a outing or something. I now use my Neverfull but i admit its not really handy. I want my hands and arms to be free.

Back to the neverfull; youre a girl and girls like pink! We all do! Even my grandma loves pink. So if you want the pink one you should buy the pink one.:heart:

I completely agree. My husband put me off the Dior bag cos he was like that's not you. So instead I got a vintage one with the scarf print interior and he said it was much more me. I know it might be off putting for some people to hear that from their partner but i really appreciate his input as he knows my style so well. He's a great sounding board. But I dont think I would look at another woman in her mid thirties and think it's not her. Tbh I'd probably be drooling.
I love the mini backpacks on people. It doesnt suit my lifestyle but I think they look unreal:heart:

Yes exactly this!

Also, I use my neverfull as a changing bag too. Not the most practical but definitely versatile!

I’m 22, but I’ve been into luxury bags since I was a child and I’d dress up in my mums closet!

But my style is more classic, I gravitate towards the Chanel classic flap and the Mulberry lily. I do own an Alma bb though which I adore  I had a phase where I thought I could pull off the Palm Springs mini, but it didn’t suit my style haha
I love bags but didn't get it from my mom. She borrows mine now lol! We just didn't have the money when I was growing up.
I definitely think style evolves and what you think won't suit you one year will be in keeping with your style another year. Like I'd never write anything off completely. No going wrong with a Chanel classic flap or Alma:love:

My grandma once told me: "When I was young and healthy, I didn't eat much cake because I thought I needed to look skinny. Now I'm old and chubby and would love to eat cake, but I can't because I'm diabetic. I wish I had eaten more cake when I could. So you do what you want to do when you can do it! Don't waste your time thinking about what other people think."

I've made that my motto since. I turned 40 last year and could not care less if someone thinks that my bag does not match my age. Who are they to judge? If I like it and I can afford it, I buy it.
So you do you, and enjoy being you and the bags you chose to carry!

I love this!:heart::heart: taking your grandma's wisdom and putting it with mine who used to tell me buy cheap and buy twice!

I’m 24 and I definitely got my love of bags etc from my mother.

I am a massive small bag lover - I have a smaller frame and I just don’t tend to like how big bags look on me. I usually have to carry a backpack to work so I tend to invest my money into cute small bags!

I love my Palm Springs mini, nano speedy, nano noe, Chanel mini flaps etc - literally all the small bags haha.

I do sometimes worry that by getting these I’m not “future proofing” my bag collection as may not like or be able to pull these off when I am older, but I’m enjoying them now - I can always sell them or pass them on if I have a daughter

I think the person should rock the bag and not the other way round. I’m pretty sure anyone call pull of this bag regardless of age. It’s all about how you style it, occasion, mood etc. Sometimes I think as women we are far too hard on ourselves. Men no way think this way, so why should we. If you love the PSM buy and enjoy it. I’m not a pack back kinda person, so not for me, but my age would never stop me buying anything I like. I’m 41.

I’ve been eyeing the my heritage mini pochette. They’ve taken the template off the website to choose colours and stripes. I guess it’s better to see up close anyway so will check it out in store.

Oh have they? That's disappointing. I was only playing with it last week trying to decide what combination I like best. But I think you're right; for something like that it's best to see it instore if you can to be sure of the colours etc.
