Have you noticed that the imprint is "reversed"? Classic vernis imprint is printed "in". This one is printed "out", the other way. I find it very nice.

I'm still not a huge fan of LV using canvas for handles, trim and straps (I guess I'm too used to the old LV where they stuck with vachetta or plain leather) but this is definitely one of the better combo's they done.

The only reason I'd worry is the fact they don't repair canvas.

So I weighed all 3 on a scale--they all came out the same weight and they feel about the same weight. The Vernis and Mono versions have a more rigid base so I think that's part of why the weight is similar to the Neo Alma. Neo Alma has a soft base.

Anyway, I took a couple of more pictures for comparison--showing the opening, both bags are totally unzipped and you can see the Neo Alma has a wider opening, the size overall is similar, the Neo Alma is a bit narrower, and, of course, the base design is different--folded base on the Neo Alma. I also took a photo of the shoulder strap attached to show the length.

I think it's so beautiful! I wish LV would come out with more color choices for this in the BB!
