It looks identical to the old Deauville. I wonder if it’ll have the regular textile/Alcantara lining vs the old plasticky lining in the Deauvilles and Trouvilles. Really hoping LV will keep the name and not rename it something else...

Yesterday, I posted this in the LV chat thread. It is identical to the Deauville with a new name. I have this bag and the hooks on the handles to wear it on the shoulder is on mine. Wondering if they will bring back the Trouville. I love the interior because it’s easy to wipe clean opposed to alcantara. Although it is call for availability, a CA can place an order for it. IMO, the name change is unnecessary.

Oh that’s awesome that it can be ordered already! I have a Trouville and I love it too but the vintage canvas gets really stiff if it’s cold outside. I agree the lining is very easy to keep clean.
Does anyone know the name of this item and/or an estimate of its price? I saw it a few weeks ago and can't get it off my mind. I'm low-key hoping it's too expensive for me to even consider because it's such a trendy item.

I’m going to go against the grain and say I really like the look of the Empreinte Alma. Dome-shaped bags can run the risk of looking staid and old-fashioned, and for me, the band of plain leather around the bottom gives the bag a fresher look. I especially like the cream colored one because the black glazing is a nice contrast. That said, I’ll have to see it in person before I’ll really know what I think.
