Ladies please help me decide which bag to get. Both are beautiful and I need one for everyday use and for night outs. Price difference is EUR 100. HELP! 
LV Diane or YSL Small Loulou?

I prefer the Diane for everyday use… don’t reach out for the small Lou Lou as much because the chain is annoying to be honest
Thank you! I’m glad to know this, coming from someone who owns the 2 bags. May I ask why the chain shoulder strap is annoying? I never owned a bag with a chain strap yet.
Sorry I don’t own the Diane lol! But I’ve had enough to know it must be more versatile. The top handle, I just don’t like the guitar strap.
On the Lou Lou, the chain can be moved around so it can also be worn crossbody. It’s good for versatility but for me it’s not a grab and go bag. Imagine the chain slipping through and you have to grab the leather parts to center and put it in along with all the noise of the chain. Closing it is also not easy as you have to align the magnet closure.
Still, it is a gorgeous bag and I had trouble letting mine go, held onto it.
My vote definitely goes to the loulou. I have the small, in black w/SHW, and it’s an awesome bag. The leather is beautiful (far nicer than LV’s empreinte, IMHO), and it’s a much more versatile bag than the Diane - especially if you’re looking for something that transitions from day to night. Capacity is good, and the chain also makes it a bit more formal, yet still perfect for use during the day.
is the loulou safe to use under heavy rain? the chain strap is not bothersome to you and does not slip constantly?
I personally don't like the big LV logo. So I vote for the Loulou! It's more classic and timeless.
I‘ve never had any issue with the chain slipping, or being bothersome. It doesn’t get caught in my hair, either! It was actually my first purse with a chain strap, and I love the little bit of oomph it gives to the bag. I am careful when storing it, and always make sure that the chain is inside the bag, as to avoid marks on the leather. I personally would not take it out in heavy rain - that’s the one advantage of LV empreinte leather.
