LV and disinfectant wipes

Got some crime scene photos for you guys(these are not my items nor my photos, someone forwarded it to me) :

^^^ ahhh. These pics hurt my heart! So scared to even carry any LVs at this time, being that sanitizer/wipes are being used so much during this pandemic.

For what it's worth, a glob of hand sanitizer landed on my vintage black Epi Noe at some point . . . this week? I just noticed it today. I wasn't initially sure what it was, and so I tried wiping it off with a damp cloth; that didn't work. Then I tried Cadillac leather cleaner. Still no. Then some black Kiwi "Shine and Nourish Cream." You can still sort of see the spot, but it's much better.

I don't use hand sanitizer if I'm holding one of my bags. It's just too easy to have it drip and cause damage. I use regular, unscented baby wipes on canvas. I use leather wipes on my leather bags. I would NEVER take anything containing alcohol to either type of material.
