In my past experiences they have required that the billing address on the card match the shipping address. I'm in the US.
I've been able to ship things to my parents in a different state (I'm in the US). What I've heard, though, is that the billing country needs to be the same, so no international purchases. I tried to buy something on the French website for in-store pickup in Paris when I went for a trip and the order wound up being cancelled.

hmm does anyone know if i want to buy from the Australian website using my card here but ship it to my sister in AUS will it go through?
I just bought from the UK site and sent to a UK address (my parents, but where my UK card is registered; I live in Hong Kong). It seemed like the billing and shipping addresses could be different, but I could only use a card with an address in Europe. I couldn’t use my Hong Kong card and ship to Europe.

I do get it because prices vary by region; it’s cheaper to buy in the UK than Hong Kong, so if foreign cards were allowed surely people in Asia would just buy in Europe and have items sent to a forwarding service. But it’s also annoying that there seems to be no way you could genuinely buy a gift for someone in a different region.

Haha! $2k for what is essentially a wearable charm. It’s sooo small. LV is going nuts with their prices.
Well the other one on my wishlist is the flower empreinte speedy, so yes, it seems affordable in comparison! I also only use mini bags that can hold my cards and a key fob these days, so for me it is the right size, which helps.

Who knew mini/ nano bags would become fashion? I remember when shopping at Louis Vuitton and Chanel say 20 years ago, I was in my 20s and CAs always recommended super small bags to me, thinking that only ppl in my age group can carry off something tiny, not usable, and funny looking.

I wish I knew enough then to buy all these things at negligible prices, but who can predict the future?

Maybe medium/ big bags will make a comeback too. Maybe tiny bags will be out of fashion at some point. We don't know.

PS: The biggest shock for me is Dior's saddle bag making a comeback. That thing looked like a kidney. My bf at the time laughed at me every time he saw it, and I almost threw out mine!
