January 1st 2024 is the current launch date! Not sure when preorders open up, but some CA’s on Instagram have posted saying they will be taking preorders “soon.”

I was saying the exact same thing. The older versions are going to go up in price.
I think I am going to try to get the key cles just to have something from this collection. I love the beautiful detailing with the vachetta tab and would plan to wear it on a belt loop like a little pouch.

I do wonder what stocks will be like on this collection. I’ve never preordered anything before but I’m considering it with this one because I have a feeling that it is going to sell out quickly and be quite hard to get. I’m having flashbacks to all the hoops those of us trying to get a mini bumbag this summer had to jump through, and I’d rather not deal with that again.

Same!!! And I am like you- I exclusively use mini bags. I even returned the Hi Rise because it felt so overwhelming for me. My current collection is small but entails Keepall XS, Nano Speedy, Mini Bumbag and Palm Springs Mini! I also have the Micro key holders- Bumbag, Palm Springs Mini, Alma, Noé, Speedy, and 2 Keepalls!Ditto! The key cles is my fave of the small accessories in this collection; it is just too adorable.

I stopped a long time with LV and the scare tactics of hard to find items. I like you rushed to do a preorder and later saw the same item sitting on a display shelf in all places a high foot traffic tourist flagship store. Right now if you follow high end designer retail especially LVMH there's a slowdown of consumer spending GLOBALLY. I can guarantee you some of these pieces from this collection will be on a display shelf somewhere shortly after the launch. What really caught my attention Hermes consumer retail spending didn't take a drastic drop but the super rich wasn't purchasing ready to wear in great numbers which reflected in this year's sample sale stock.Ditto! That is so crazy that you saw it sitting on the shelf in a high-traffic store!
I definitely agree with you — the scare tactics are so obnoxious and unnecessary, hence why I prefer not to play into them. I actually work in luxury retail and you are so right about the global spending slowdown … even tho LVMH is doing better than Kering and others ATM, I think they are going to continue with the false scarcity tactics and price increases to try to make drum up more profits, as if they’re not rich enough already.

It was so interesting to see how well Hermes is doing compared to everyone else, but I guess it’s not surprising as the Hermes customer
is a true luxury player vs. the aspirational customers who are shopping more at LV, Gucci and other more accessible luxury brands. I didn’t know about their RTW sales and sample sale stock though, but I’m not too surprised. Even if I could afford to shop their RTW I don’t think I would; I’d rather spend money on quality accessories, fine jewelry and watches, exotic vacations, etc. than ridiculously overpriced RTW, but then again, I am obviously not their target customer!

Some of these colors by the pool reverse collection is the same colors as Pharrell’s men's launch leather speedy. I don't think the grey color was produced for the million dollar speedy.
