Eeeek @Emphosix you’re amazing, thank you!! I had my sight set on the mini bumbag but now I’m wondering should I hold out for the empriente loop hobo?! The only thing that held me back from the monogram was the possibility of cracking…..I’m supposed to be calling in to order the mini bumbag tomorrow!!

I can only buy one…..I could fit more things in the Saumur than the pochette Métis E/W and was itching for a slightly smaller travel bag so I hope this does the trick. I’m a little nervous about the vachetta but I think I’m going to just have to go all in

I buckled and went down to the store to test it out and it kind of hit a sweet spot between my existing collection and maybe it will force me to finally let go of my petite Malle (bc I have a one in one out rule. And I adore her. But she’s mostly still around only for that bc I don’t USE her as much as I should.) I love the vintage feel of this style and I can see really using it. I will say, I don’t bring a lot of stuff with me on a day to day basis. I can get away with sunnies in a pouch, a lip, keys, compact wallet or cardholder, airpods- and be totally good. And the phone slides in that back pocket. I could also fit the LV passport wallet inside which would be key if I wanted to use her for travel (cannot fit in the PM E/W.)
Interesting to hear that the pm e/w is actually smaller than the saumur. I had thought about the pm because I really like the look of it but since the capacity of saumur was insufficient now I know to cross the pm e/w off my list. Thank u for this helpful insight and enjoy your saumur bb : )
They had them next to each other in the store but if I recall the key is the Saumur is a bit taller, and the lack of the dividers is VERY helpful in terms of getting my needs in the bag. I actually was able to Tetris more things into my nano speedy than the E/W. But the biggest drawback was the inability to get the passport wallet in. So I did pass on it because at that point my rationale was - the nano fit all the stuff I could fit into the E/W and I already owned her. I know there’s a thread on the Saumur bb but holler at me I can be of extra help!
I agree I'm the same way one goes - so of course I'm always all over the place! And same here I only carry phone key pouch and Rosalie wallet and like a gloss and small moisturizer. Mine comes tomorrow and I'm debating on this or the high rise. I've always been a huge fan of the bags in the 90s and 2000s so this def hits the spot.
I just returned the saumur because for me the microfiber lining was too bulky for the size of the bag plus the back pocket was pretty snug for my pro max with Otterbox commuter case and I did not want it rubbing against that vachetta strip each time I squeezed it into that back pocket . I think the saumur is very nice but it wasn’t for me . The pm e/w was just a bag I’d thought about but I have the regular pm so will stick with that : )
