I am on a similar hunt but at a very different price point and have focused mainly on indie brands. So maybe my research will not be very helpful to you but anyway…
I haven’t decided for myself yet but my heart seems to want the Leo et Violette Dalia bag the most although my brain keeps saying it will probably not fit as much as some others I am also looking for a versatile bag and I like that the straps can be detached with Dalia.

Hi everyone!

I’ve accumulated several very classic luxury bags over the years, but I’ve come to the sad realization that I don’t enjoy carrying any of them nearly as much as my old discontinued Marc by Marc Jacobs Natasha crossbody.

Does anyone have recs for a spacious, medium to large crossbody (luxury brand preferred but would go contemporary as well if it looks luxe) with a magnetic flap closure and all leather strap? Prefer to stay under US $2500 and can be preloved.

Contenders I’ve ruled out:

YSL medium Niki— would be perfect if it weren’t for the chain straps.

Gucci Marmont flap bags—chain straps

Pochette Metis empreinte-has a leather strap but has the clasp closure (and is slightly too small).

Tom Ford Jennifer (which looks so similar to the Natasha)— is close, but not a fan of the huge zipper going all the way around.

Celine Classic Box or Triomphe—interior capacity too small

Gucci Blondie—logo slightly too big, over my price range

Longchamp Le Foulonne flap crossbody—this would be very close, but the style is just too minimal and plain, there is almost zero hardware on that bag, didn’t feel luxe.

I loved the Kate Spade Little Minka. But that's about as old as Natasha.
