I know of someone in LA who received this too but only this month because the U.S. customs had held it back
I’ve had the honor of attending a few different shows/events. Usually it’s pretty last minute as details of a show are hush hush. I went last March Paris and I believe I booked everything a month before when I was notified more about dates and details.
If you are really interested in these events, mention it to your SA. You may not get the premium invite to the Paris week runway show but there is no harm in asking and letting it be known. Plus, there are also regional events that are somewhat more accessible. There was huge lifestyle event in LA last year that was also digitally streamed. In person trunk shows are more common place and you will be invited 2-6 weeks prior depending. I was offered a private showing last month for the new high end tambour/ Akrivia watches but I declined as I am not currently in the market for one. I agree with @jennyp507 that the invites do come pretty late so you have to be flexible enough in your scheduling -which unfortunately I generally am not
.ps, the LNY gift has arrived in store finally - cutting it close LV! I received mine this weekend and it is a red/burgundy theme throughout. Very tastefully done in my opinion. I’ll try to take some pics later but earlier photos already posted are quite accurate.
