Does anyone out there have the Lucky summer necklace? I tried it on this past weekend and it is truly beautiful but I am very torn on whether to pull the trigger. I had the 20 motif pave & onyx on my list but i will have to pass it I get the Lucky summer. I will be on ban island for the next few years...LOL. It really is a special piece but I think about cost per wear and then question the purchase. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Apparently, there are only 2 in the US so I could miss out if I don't make a decision soon. c4e0eeaa.jpg

I was so desperate for these earrings, I think they're stunning in pictures but could not find a pair anywhere except Dubai and I wasn't able to fly there for it ( they were unable to transfer it to the us).
I think this line is so unique with the colors and the waves idea. I personally would go for it
Were the earrings available too , or just the necklace?

I would literally not even hesitate... I think this is more wearable than it looks. It's obviously beautiful in the photo above.. imagine it with a crisp white collared shirt, or with a chic one piece bathing suit, or with a strapless gold gown, or even with a v-neck t-shirt.. I could go on and on but honestly I think this is a piece you would get a ton of wear out of and would not regret one bit if you don't mind the price. 10/10 yes for me. :yes:

Yes and cozy grey, navy or black sweaters in winter with this pop of summertime

I am amazed by the look of this necklace. But I still would advise to keep the project of your dreamy piece onyx and paved diamonds : as this piece won’t be an easy one to wear and dress with I think. And I would be afraid that it looks too fantasy and you cannot really wear it every day (the opposite would be true for the onyx and diamond one)… but I can understand it is really tempting as marvelous as it seems. Do you think you can still wear it in like 20 years ? If yes go for it and if not …

How much would you wear this stunning piece? How much more do you love this piece than the other pieces in your wish list? Is it worth being on ban island for a couple of years? I think everyone is different. And a piece that would not be worth it to me would totally worth it for you and vice versa. I would think very carefully. Don’t let the threat of scarcity force your hand. A purchase this expensive should not be mare under duress. And if someone else buys it first, that means they loved it more. They should have it and you will buy a piece that you are certain about.

I think the wearability of the L.s. V 20-M is subjective. For me, 20s don’t work and even though only and pave are beautiful, WG doesn’t suit me as a necklace. The turquoise, MOP, and lapis with YG would be more wearable to me, plus it’s short, so it’s easier to wear.

My only hesitation in your case would be to make sure you can return it for a refund not credit, since it’s so expensive and you haven’t tried it on, because the pieces are long and look hard, so depending on where the pieces sit on you, they may not lie flat, and that would be a firm pass.

Don’t hesitate, get this over the 20 motif if it works on you. It’s gorgeous.

This is a stunning creation with stones that don't come by often. But as others have mentioned, only get it if you truly love it and not because of the scarcity. Over the years I've developed the habit to not purchase anything that make me hesitant or second guess my decision. Is this creation going make you smile from time to time again while you're on ban island for the next few years? If this necklace happens to be a regular creation like the 20 motif that you can get it whenever you please, would you still choose this over the 20 motif?
