Love all your new goodies! After reading your story the Lucky bag totally fits. Thanks for sharing your story and all the pix. Please post pix after you create your new fob. :)

Yes, I agree you HAD to have that bag! Congrats! It's a beautiful color combination and it kind of reminds me of 50s cars with the pink and black coloring.

You know, you're right ... it does have a 50s feel. :) It's supposed to have a "biker" inspiration, but honestly I don't see that at all. I'm pretty sure I'd read somewhere in Coach's literature that the word "Lucky" was supposed to be a biker's nickname. I remember, because my immediate reaction was, "What modern day, tough guy biker would do that???" .... But yes, I do see an old style vibe like that to it, and I like it. :)

Wow, I'm impressed! I can honestly say that I've never given that much thought to any bag I've purchased thus far..........and I've purchased quite a few.
Enjoy your new bag and well thought out charm!

Thank you. :) It didn't take a lot of thought to decide I needed it. :) When it came out in white, the only thing holding me back was the typical fear of "white leather". But dusty pink ... I'm there.

I love the bag and the charm. The story behind your purchase is neat and that bag will always have such meaning to you. Enjoy!

Looks like nicely detailed bag! super fun. The fob is fun too.

Thank you, ladies. :)

What a great bag! It's a wonderful shade, and perfect details. Your story behind the purchase is very lovely, I'm so happy for your life and your appreciation of it. The altered bag charm will look great on the bag! I just adore that little dinosaur!

Thank you. And yep, and the hardware on the bag and the charm matches perfectly. The "surgery" on the charm is assured ... I just need to remind myself that it's not actually a sin to dissect it.

I completely understand the reasons behind your bag purchase. I bought myself the sterling Lucky bracelet for reasons somewhat similar to yours. ( things that happened in my life that should have left me an incoherent mess, haven't. )

The color of your bag is really beautiful. I love the pale pink. I also really love the found objects purse charm/key fob. ( whatever they are calling these things now. ) Enjoy your goodies!!

Thanks, INeedCoffee. :) I understand completely. :flowers:

Pretty bag and thanks for sharing the story behind it. Enjoy!

Congrats on your new bag and charm!
Thanks for sharing your story~

Thank you, ladies! :flowers:

I'm so glad you got this bag and charm with personal meaning. I'm very glad I've gotten to know you better and honored to know your "story."

Thanks, lizmil. The feeling is mutual. :flowers:

Thanks BeachBagGal. I'll post the results of the surgery, probably here --- both daughter's resultant charm, and my own. I still feel a little sacriligious about it, but all parts will be preserved ........ just ... moved around a little. :D

Dinosaur! :woot:

It really does sound like that combo and you were meant to be! :smile1:

I'd remove the skull, turntable, and earphones, too, because I don't think they fit with the dinosaur and feather. It's called found objects, but if anyone ever found a human skull and kept it, I'd worry about them. Please post pics after PCE when you can cut tags and modify them as you wish.

Thanks ChevaliereNoir :flowers:. Yeah, I'd worry about "finding"/keeping a human skull too. I'd worry even more about a human skull as big as a t-rex. Or even as big as a record-player, for that matter.
