So what? Everyone who makes a quilted leather bag, is copying Chanel? Do you know how many companies make quilted leather bags? ALL of them! Handbags can only be in so many styles and colors. MK makes all of them, and why shouldn't he??? I noticed on this forum that only the saffiano bags get many good comments, HOWEVER, I sell MK bags on ebay and I can tell you that what is selling on ebay is nothing like what is popular on this forum.
For example, I have a saffiano zip top Jet Set listed and a Soft leather chained Jet Set Tote listed, and the Soft Leather Jet Set has 68 watchers and 32 bids, while the saffiano Jet set only has 38 watchers and 18 bids. What does that tell you?? It tells me that the soft leather AND the chains, is way more popular on ebay which has billions of members. If I went by what is popular on this forum, I would go broke! lol! I did do that at one time, and tried selling what was popular on this forum. I had to go back to plan A because I wasn't making very much money. I trusted my own judgement and am doing much better. I can tell you this quilted Susanna is VERY hot on ebay! It is a beautiful bag!
It's a stunning bag and I even eyed the blossom one. Only I'm not a tote gal, but it was really tough saying no to this beauty. So super soft and classy.
So I decided to go into the Chanel store today to see what all of the hype was about. Dressed in less than impressive clothes, I must say the SA was quite nice. Unfortunately my training warrants casual and comfy clothes so that's what's in my suitcase. She excitedly brought me a lambskin bag to try that was priced in the same range as a early 2000 model Nissan truck. I took a deep breath and as I picked the bag up I was sure the angels were going to start singing. Folks that dabble in these luxuries usually describe bags at the same level of a pornographic novel. "Look at how soft it is... I just want to keep touching it... Uhh ...oh yeah... The smell... (((Inhaled and breathes deeply))) ... So I felt like I too would like to try handbag porn. As I picked the bag up, a visceral reaction consumed my body and I am pretty sure I started to develop a stress rash. In my minds eye there was Mr Krabs from Spongebob Squarepants playing the smallest violin ever. The angels never arrived but rest assured .. disappointment arrived right on time. I thought back to that gorgeous Susannah tote at Bloomies and how much more I enjoyed the leather. I noticed the Chanel was already scratched and the hardware didn't wow me. I smiled and politely thanked the SA for helping me check off an item on my bucket list. Whattttts the moral of the story here. I am either cheap or thrifty. And I am going to buy a Susannah tote. Handbag nirvana has been reached.

Haha love your story, very funny. I personally never felt Chanel or this Susannah tote and it's very interesting that you think Susannah is softer than Chanel! Because of your story I am now thinking about purchasing this tote for my mum. Only concern is the weight of the bag because of the chains. Did you think it was heavy? (I only have medium and large Selma satchels, is the Susannah significantly heavier?)
I don't think it was heavy at all. Also, the chanel was quite soft but for a bag that is easily damaged and in opinion ... Not of mind blowing better quality, it seems to be such a waste of money!
I think the Susannah is a lovely bag. I've watched all the youtube videos on her only problem is I can't find her with silver hardware :no-good: I will not give up my search because I think she would be the perfect everyday bag.
