Last year for my birthday I bought the 4 diamond love YG bracelet as I have been wanting it all year, however on the day I fell in love with the YG diamond (regular size) juc but still went ahead a bought the love bracelet as that’s what I had planned to buy. A couple days later I decided to exchanged as I couldn’t stop thinking of the juc.

Since then I have also bought the guilloche VCA bracelet to add with it. I love sparkly jewellery:love:
So for this year’s birthday (in a few weeks time) I was planning to finally add the 4 diamond love bracelet but keep thinking if I should get the plain instead and use the extra money to either buy other things off my wish list like the VCA guilloche /large frivole earrings or I could even add another plain love bracelet.

In the boutique when I tried them both on, the brand new love bracelets are so shiny so the diamonds doesn’t stand out much-possibly due the the plastic film over the love, so then it makes me think if it’s worth it as I’m not wowed by the diamonds. However I know that in time the love bracelet does lose its shine and starts to patina, then I would appreciate the sparkle of the diamonds:graucho: ... what are your thoughts? Please help me decide. Do you think the diamonds add that extra special element? I would really appreciate those of you who do own the love bracelet to give me your thoughts as to why you chose the plain or diamond love over the other? Thank you

Hi @Familyfirst,

I do own the 4 diamond Love in PG and do think the diamonds make a huge difference.

You said it yourself: you love sparkly things. All things considered, if they were both the same price, the plain and the 4 diamond, you would certainly go for the one with diamonds, correct? I think the price is the only deciding factor here.

That being said, get the thing you really want, which appears to be the sparkly one!

Note: The tape over the bracelet really skews the overall look. I saw it in the Rainbow Love, and it made me not care for it either. Although I bet, it’s much more appealing without the tape!

Also, every now and again, when I see the diamonds sparkle on my Love - it’s just LOVE!!

P.S. If the 6 diamond classic were still available, it would be a no-brainer for me to get that over the 4 diamond or plain, and I would never look back or doubt myself!

To me, it’s about getting the thing I really want in order to be completely happy and satisfied if money is not an issue. I’m looking into it being custom-made now. My only fear is I just hope I don’t love my 4 diamond any less if it happens.

Therefore, the take away is, get the thing you LOVE most!!

Thank you for your reply. Yes your right I would get the diamond one if both prices were the same. I guess I felt the diamonds didn’t really stand out much so that had me second guessing and thinking what other jewellery I can add but I know it’s most likely because of the tape they use to protect the bracelet- which is a shame because it doesn’t show its full galore and hides away its beauty and therefore doesn’t wow the potential buyer like myself! As the juc didn’t have the tape around it and I saw how much it sparkles I couldn’t resist it and every time I look at it now brings me joy!
I too wish the 6 diamond was still available as I would definitely get that! I did consider the 10 diamond but ultimately decided against as I want with some screw design. The 4 diamond just seems....lacking?

Does the 4 diamonds make a big impact on the look of the bracelet, IMHO not really. But I’m a sucker for anything with a splash of sparkle so DH got me the yg 4 dia. I also have the regular JUC dia rg and love them paired together. It would be a costly mistake to settle for plain if you have your heart set on the dia, only to repurchase the one you really want. I’ve heard this a lot, people regret not getting dia, but seldom do you hear that they do the other way around.

I agree. The 10 Diamond could be any diamond bracelet and the screw motif is what gives it the Cartier look and feel with more appeal.

The 6 Diamond is just more balanced and aesthetically more pleasing than the 4 diamond, which if I’m being honest, is slightly strange and awkward with the diamond placement!

Ugh! If I had the forethought initially, I would have inquired about the custom order and be done because honestly, I would be quite happy with just the one bracelet, the one I really wanted!

Sorry I meant to respond to this but messed up completely creating more posts!

I think it really depends on the buyer’s perspective because I do really love the diamonds and think they are worth it.

In my opinion, there is simply no comparison between the reg JUC vs. diamond JUC! The diamond wins every time.

When it comes to the love bracelet, I think you could really go either way with either the plain or 4 diamond. The plain yg is chic and classic. The 4 diamond gives that extra (but subtle) sparkle... but in my opinion the “balance” is off and it does look a little awkward with 4 rather than 6 stones. This is the main reason why I didn’t choose to pay extra for the 4 diamonds. It bothers me, personally, but it’s still a gorgeous piece nonetheless!

I have always wanted a love bracelet. While looking I saw the 4 diamond one and was like I’m getting that one. I love diamonds and figured that one would make me happier. The more I kept thinking I kept changing my mind. For years I wanted the plain gold. I kept reading how those that chose the regular regretted not getting the 4 diamond. I eventually ordered the regular yellow gold online and do not regret getting it. I never saw the 4 diamond in person so I don’t know how it looks besides from pictures. Actually I may have tried one on while at the boutique but I don’t remember. When I went to a boutique to buy one for my mom she chose the rose gold small with 6 diamonds. If I got a small I would get with diamonds but I don’t regret having the regular without. Figure I could wear a diamond tennis bracelet or something else for sparkle. But get what you truly want. I thought I truly wanted diamonds but it seems to be that I didn’t lol.

Yes, I understand. It bothers me too at times, and that's probably why I am looking into the 6 diamond classic one because together I think they will complement each other and not look so "off" like a pair! LOL

Even though, I love the look of just one classic Love alone, but at least I can get the one thing I really want and just have it!

I have a classic yg love and I’ll be honest...... I still think about if I should have gotten the one with diamonds.

I do love my classic love though. I have the JUC with diamonds so there’s still some bling. I think you can’t go wrong either way, but if you’re considering the diamonds and get the plain, you may wish you went the diamond route.

First off I love diamonds and have 2 Love w/ 10d. Do you plan to wear the Love bracelet all the time or do you plan to take it off at night? I think it makes a difference in how shiny the bracelet remains over the years. I take my bracelet off in the evening. I don’t wear bracelets every day and I don’t stack. The WG one is from 2009 and the RG one is from 2017. They both have not been polished just cleaned once or twice a year. I like the look of the 4d alternating with the screws. 085959C6-8C2A-4E08-8463-2D1EF036EDC7.jpeg
