I am happy that I had 2 years time for purchasing many LV bags before the price increased the first time (since I´m collecting LV) and I´m also happy that I got 2 bags within the last two months before the price increase... I know that the price increase is not that much but some bags are now 800 or over 1000 / 1800 and I think it affects a little bit psyological if you know what I mean.. It´s like hey 760 euro is "okay" for a speedy but 800 looks a lot more, or 1780 euro for the empreinte verison is "okay" but 1820 is a lot... so let´s see how many lv bags I will buy in the future as I´m content and happy with my collection for now but I have 1-3 bags on my "maybe someday" wishlist which I may buy or not for special occasions like christmas/ bday.. let´s see. I just think I will not buy so many lv bags anymore in the future just because I already have all the bags that I wanted...... my husband didn´t believe me anymore when I said there was a the price increase as I said it many times before in order to get a bag and it never happened within the 2 years hahaha
This is the first time on tPF that I have heard rumors of a price increase and it actually happened.
No way! [emoji74] There’s been many posts here warning about price increase that actually took place. Some of the readers here have good SAs to warn them in advance and I’ve been able to take advantage of the intel to save a few bucks. [emoji6]
TPF is a great source of knowledge and intel when it comes to new releases and price increases. I am very grateful that people share their intel on this platform so we can be prepared. At least I had the choice to get something before the price increase. I decided not to buy the bag next on my list because I just got my Alma BB 3 weeks ago. But knowing that it will only be a small price increase helped me not stressing about it too much and not making any rash decisions
I also had the Clemence wallet on my list, but wanted to get it with a different interior color than the ones available. Also thanks to tpf I knew that the Clemence will come out with the freesia interior only 2 days after the price increase, so I waited for this one and luckily the Clemence did not have a price increase after all. So I was lucky

I guess what they mean by hand crafted is that they didn't use the sewing machine with their feet! Therefore handcrafted.
I've had a SA tell me to my face that glaze cracking on the spine of a wallet on display was "part of the design" LOL. I was happy to learn that if you are on a waiting list before the price increase, they honor the old price if you buy the item. The staff in my local store said it is best to put down a deposit on the item to lock yourself in at that price.
I‘m happy that the montaigne empreinte bb didn’t have a price increase so I just paid the „old“ price

I can't believe that the selected items went up again with the site wide increase only a couple of weeks later! for that Saintonge to rise $70 days after it's released too/ Why didn't they just start it at the new price.. I think it was priced too high to begin with ..
