Agree. They should have just priced Saintonge at 2200 AUD to start. It’s a bad form to change price so quickly. My guess is AUD had been weak and to compensate for that, they raised price again...? The moral of the story is don’t hesitate. If you like something, buy it now and think later. Prices just keep going up and up for many luxury brands!:crybaby:

I have been buying lately preloved and think that is you wait and whatch you can strike a very good deal.
Unfortunately SLG's are harder to get preloved, and very often price is quite high, so end up buying few from the store.

Just heard that because US has put on tariffs for Europe ,Eu is retaliating by increasing prices for commodities like Levi’s and other stuff .So I bet even LV will increase their price in US .Just a heads on for people planning to buy .Think all the other designers from eu also will increase their price for stuff to US .

I presume it is actually the US tariffs that will give the price increase of LV in the USA. It is not LV putting the prices up per se. In Europe we will have to pay more for some American products because European countries put import tax/tariffs on imports from the US. Quid pro quo.

What they meant is as US is putting tariff on steel from tomorrow in Eu ,Mexico and Canada ,the Eu has decided to retaliate and increase the tariffs on European products that are going to US ,mainly stuff like orange juice ,Levi’s jeans and other designer wear .Basically the EU plans to start a trade war against US .

Well actually, like SarkyCat wrote, it's the other way around: those tariffs go on imports, not on exports. So the US Administration has implemented tariffs on certain European products in order to make them more expensive and by this putting them at a disadvantage in the US market. The EU may react by implementing tariffs on certain imported goods from the US as well but hasn't done so yet.

Did anyone notice Louis Vuitton raised their prices today? I just ordered from the website yesterday. I bought a Damier Ebene Speedy 30 for $1,020. Today that same bag is listed for $1,370. WOW!!! The highest increase I have seen has been $400. The MM Graceful went from $1,440 to $1,840 as well as others.
