Sweden had a price increase in mid April. So far there are no more planned price increases here, I have asked my SA to warn me before any increases so I can do my purchases before :)

Recent price increases in Canada seemed a bit crazy and very inconsistent.
I thought LV was trying to provide more consistent pricing worldwide and was going to be adjusting prices in various countries to keep up with varying worldwide exchange rates - but that's not happened with either of the 2 price increases in Canada this year...at least that's what I initially thought.

Eva clutch - at the beginning of 2015 was $780, in April it cost $860, today it costs $955.
Speedy B30 - at beg of year was $1375, in April was $1530 and now is $1590.

So the Eva has gone up 22 percent since the 01/2015 while the Speedy 30B has gone up 16 percent in 8 months in Canada
The U.S. Site lists the Eva at $775 and the Speedy B30 is $1390.
If you convert the current CND prices to USD then the comparison is

Eva is the equivalent of 730 USD in Canada compared to 775 USD in the U.S.
Speedy B is the equivalent of 1215 USD in Canada compared to 1390 USD in the U.S.
So does that mean it's cheaper to buy LV in Canada? Possibly ...but because most provinces in Canada will charge a retail sales tax as well as the federal goods and services tax it may not be. Many U.S. States also charge taxes ....so you need to do your homework if you're buying abroad and constantly check exchange rates, local taxes and duty costs

If the CND dollar sits at its current rate for a while I'm expecting we will see further adjustment upwards on pricing here in the great white north...probably in the 5 - 10 percent range.

This got me thinking since i was asking questions about the pochette NM....would it be cheaper to buy in Canada or U.S.?

The pochette NM in monogram is currently listed on the LV CND website as $605CND (which is equal to approx. $460USD)
It is listed on the U.S. Website as $500USD.
So the base price is cheaper in Canada but you have to take into account taxes in the province/state you live in and the province/state you would buy in.
