Oh my! I am joking - but it's not my fault. My SA started it. I saw him over the weekend, and he told me that. I started freaking out and he laughed and said 'April Fools!'. I was so mad! But he is just lovely and I always give him a hard time, so it was just pay back.

Of course, that being said, the SA's definitely wouldn't commit to saying there was no price increase. They said it isn't 'safe to say' and if they said anything, LV could suddenly send notice that it was happening. So I don't know what to think - and if it stresses you out, then it's not worth it to wait!
My philosophy: there will always be a price increase sometimes in the future. So what's the point of buying in a rush? I buy when I want and when my budget allows it. I don't worry about potential price increases. Why would anyone subject themselves to such fears and panic mode? Let LV increase its prices when they want, I ll buy when I am ready to.

I bought my lumi thinking there would be an increase but I would have bought it anyway. Increases always happen around my annual trip to LV so I always feel like I should rush. It's silly because I know I won't be able to buy everything on my list so prices will always be rising for the things I want, so why rush?
Reason cause I have modes; Lv buying modes and non Lv buying modes. It's important that I know when the price increase would happen cause then I will stop afterwards - sort of a self regulation thing. A price increase is a natural cue to stop bag madness.
I have been in the buying mode for over a month now and can't wait to get out. Cause when I am in the mode, I am severely distracted from my other more important work. I check official website, YouTube, forum, like a child in a candy shop that I can't help myself.... I want out. I need out. Cause I need to reallocate my brian to other stuff. That's why I care about price increase. Psychologically I need a closure.
I heard the Canadian raise is to match the strong dollar; so if that is the reason, U.S. wouldn't raise price.

Nah I think I am towards the end now cause I pretty much bought my entire wish list and pretty much don't have anything else in mind to buy. Scary for the bank account, but I am glad that this happened cause then I won't think about Lv for another couple of years haha. I have all I can think of for now.
The key is not to get any new info.... With new info the desire would automatically rise. That is dangerous.
