There are 2 LV locations here and I called one of them almost a week ago and they told me:
"I don't know why many customers are asking us this or where they are getting this from but it is all rumors. No price increase will take place anytime soon."
I called my 2nd local LV today to ask if any items increased in price. They replied:
"A price increase? No, everything has stayed the same."
Weird ..... Maybe it only affected Hawaii?
they call it price adjustment because not all products will have price increase, some of them stay the same (usually seasonal items, shoes), and some of them actually decrease.
There will be NO adjustments made to the Domestic United States... Only Hawaii was affected with the adjustments.
yes, i know. that's why i mentioned on the batignolles line decreasing in price during a previous price adjustment.
its odd enough to begin with, but hawaii retail is still lower than mainland. i guess i have all those japanese tourists to thank.
I was at LV in northern NJ on Friday 12/28 to buy an agenda. My SA said that prices are going up in 2 weeks across the board. She just threw the info out there - I didn't even ask. Hoping she is wrong, but why would she just say it.

I only looked at her sheets really quickly (was on my lunch hour - plus I was thinking I should be on a ban, I should be on a ban) - I definitly remember the heart - a cosmetic pouch and a new bag similar to the saleya.

Can anyone else corroborate this? Ugh. Well, at least my birthday (and LV shopping trip) is on the 5th so maybe I'll get in just under the wire.
If in fact there is an upcoming price increase in a few weeks, I would think they have factored in the new prices into anything coming out on Jan 2. I just don't see them putting something new out and then less than 2 weeks later raise the prices. It will start out at the "higher prices".
