I purchased an item this past weekend at the Santa Monica Boutique and the SA said a price increase mid November but didn’t have a date. She said she would text me when she finds out which is usually a week before the increase.

I recently read this interesting article re: LV raising prices in China in August after previously raising prices a couple times mid-pandemic earlier in the year. Since China is aggressively raising prices, one expert said it wouldn’t be surprising to see them raise prices in the UK and US to competitively level the price gap between markets.

Was in-store today and asked my CA about the rumored price increase before the end of the year. She couldn’t give me details, and wasn’t sure if it would be across all items or just some, but said she definitely thinks there will be a price increase before Christmas...

I want to pick up some pieces, but I originally wanted to sell some pieces first and make room. Since shipping larger lv bags is not cheap, a price increase could cover some of the shipping costs, so I doubt I'll be waiting.
If I were to focus on something for a special event, I would just wait. At that point, the extra money I paid doesn't mean anything to me, since the experience of getting my item for a special time is really what meant the most.
