And this is what they count on so they continue to be able to increase prices as often as they want, even on a brand new item that just released.
If I were to buy an Alma BB in monogram before the increase, and within the 30 days the DE is back in stock. Would I be able to exchange? Or would LV provide store credit, and I would have to pay the difference. I really want the Alma BB in DE but it doesn't seem like it will be in stock before the price increase.
Not real sure about local stores policies, but I tried to return/exchange an Azur item and wanted the same item in DE and wasn't able to do it. Yes the one was before the increase. I would have had to pay the extra $$ to buy the other item in DE.

But I still wonder if I build a relationship with a SA if it would be possible to do in store.
I think they are restricting supply again before the increase. Then as soon as the increase surprise surprise everything will suddenly become available again. It's the only explanation for why I haven't been able to get an item I've been after for 2 months.

I did try to do my exchange/return in store. Couldn't.
You can try calling Customer Service and placing an order directly with them. Once the item is in stock, it’ll ship to you. And if you bought it before any price increase, you will get it at that price, regardless of when it ships. Exchanging for your preferred color or pattern won’t work though, because you will be charged whatever price the new item is currently selling for. Good luck!
Yeah I’ve had my eye on the Alma bb in DE and it’s been sold out. I just bought the Alma bb in monogram which surprisingly has been available. I’ve also wanted Noé bb and another speedy all of which have been sold out for a while. But yeah they will magically become available after the price increase.
i asked my sa and she had not heard anything at all . she seemed surprised when i asked, citing the previous increases.
