No shade at ALL, but is this all based on one person's post? I know she has alot of info and posts about stuff most people aren't privy to, but has anyone else heard the same rumor for another source? (One that isn't using her as their source?) Just curious.

A couple people claim their CAs told them there will be and several others claim that theirs said there won't be and that it was only a rumor so seems to be a guessing game at this point. Some people act like an Instagrammer is the be all end all, but she gets her information from reading other people's posts.

Well let's hope that it's just a rumour. I for one will definitely wait until after the 11th to decide whether to buy a bag or not. I'm not going to spend my money based on rumours. Having said that, every rumored increase actually happened in the past 8months, though this one seems utterly impossible to me.

I have two bags left on my wishlist from LV but the stores around me aren’t even open yet. And I really want to see these bags in person with all the quality issues. Don’t want to go back and forth with exchanges. And on top of it I really wanted to wait until the fall or winter. I’m just not using my nice bags now. It just doesn’t make sense to get a bag to hibernate in my closet. So this is a no go for me. The rapid price increases are just so annoying and really inconsiderate of the times we are all living in.

Her intel is based on other people hearing from their CAs. Half of what I have seen people say is their CAs say is "yes 5% on 100 canvas items" and others said no, just a rumor. A couple said they don't get told until the night before or that they aren't being told or they can't share as it is cause for immediate termination.

Just got off the service line and had a very kind, chatty employee. We talked about the current circumstances with closed / re-opened boutiques and he told me that even during the lock down they had so many phone orders, must have been crazy. And even now as stores have re-opend here they still get so many more orders than usually. Maybe that's another reason for those increases? If there is such a high demand for their products why not increase some more?

With this crazy monthly price increases, I am starting to ask myself that do I still need more bags which I don’t get to use them now. I only use my nylon longchamp pliage during the lockdown and the luxury handbags are all sitting on the shelves gathering dust. So what’s the point?! I am more or less done once I get the one more item on my list which is only a slg so the price increase won’t be that huge difference.

My SA said it is true. They will increase but not all. She doesn’t know which one. I still have 5 more bags to go on my list. I will not buy all 5 NOW before the increase.. so yeah.. increase or no increase will be the same for me.. at the end of the day I will still buying and I know some of us will do the same thing because of our love for LV.. :heart:

I need some advice. The last two bags on my wishlist are mon monogram make it yours pieces. The price of both, a speedy and keepall rose last time. Is it likely that their price will increase again this time?
I'm trying to talk myself out of ordering both now/tomorrow.
