I am a regular at the Frankfurt Store as well, but haven't heard anything about an increase yet. Hope there is none until summer as I plan to make few purchases, too. [emoji1]
That would not be a problem for me as I am not a bagpack girl.
Once a SA (not my regular one) showed me and my mom a backpack because the bag I wanted was sold out. I was like no, not for me and he actually tried to convince me to buy it. He said as I was wearing jeans it would look sooo good on me. When I said it is laundry day and I had nothing else left and I usually never wear jeans, he still did not give up until my mom just started laughing out loud. She just knows me best, no backpacks, fullstop. Funny thing is, I have never worn a jeans again ever since that day [emoji16]
unbelievable the SA tried to convince you.. I don´t like that... I´m glad my SA don´t try to convince me as I sometime really can´t decide which bag shall i get and I don´t like beiing convinced that the other bag is better or something.. I just need options and then I decide..
I also don´t like a backpack.. that would look funny on me haha.. I haven´t even checked if the price has increased for that in europe..
!My SA told me that LV is not planning anymore to increase all bags at once but to increase them slowly..for example next time the neverfull then the speedys and so on.. and she said the neverfull didn't increase since 2 years so she thinks it could happen soon
My SA a year ago told me the same thing. LV is no longer doing across the board increases but selectively raising prices on certain items like ones that are popular such as the pochette metis. He also noted that the factory that makes the PM has been overwhelmed by the number of orders so perhaps this is a way to alleviate some of that but I think they would need to make significant price increases to lessen any interest in this item!
