My sa told me they are going to be random from now on. No more across the board increases but increases on certain items that are popular. For example the pochette Metis went up from 1650 to 1700 a couple weeks ago.

Am I seeing this right?????? On a Canadian LV website the prices went DOWN. I wonder if this is simply a currency fluctuation thing... just checked the price of a CAD vs US $$, it is weak again after 6 weeks of slowly climbing back up...

Yup! Ur right- woohoo!!! Some items $50 decrease. Thx God for small miracles after 4-5 increase since 2015.

the decreases are so small, but it feels great anyway! :)))

It's small in the grand scheme of things, but I agree it feels great!! I'm getting a price adjustment as I just bought something new at the old price. Yay me!

Was eyeing the Neverfull MM for about a year now and it went down $50.. Might jump the gun and get it as my first LV bag. Not sure if I should buy it here in Canada or wait until I go to the US in July :confused1:

2. RETURNS - No matter how much I research an item exhaustively (Instagram, YouTube, Google, in-person visits) and sometimes a whole year long deciding beforehand, nothing compares to having the bag in your home in front of your own mirror and figuring out if the bag works for you. From the European countries I purchased, you could only do an Exchange or Store Credit and it must be redeemed in that country only. While in the US, they even accept exchanges from different countries ~ the most lenient exchange/return polices.

That's not true, at least not about exchanging only in the country purchased. I bought a Vernis business card holder in Rome last spring and exchanged it two weeks later in Paris for a PM Agenda. Just paid the difference, but if I'd wanted to return it for store credit, I could've in France. No restrictions between countries.

I agree. I purchased gifts in Rome for family in Canada, and I was assured by the SA that I could exchange the item for another item that was equal or greater than the value of my item In my country of exchange

I think with exchanges they can be lenient, I've made a purchase in Italy but made the exchange back in the US, haven't tried with another country. However, the Store Credit is only to be used in that same country, that's for sure. I experienced this in Paris and was told by their manager, and I asked again recently in Germany. Maybe the trick is to buy something for your return and make the exchange when you find your item. But really that's quite silly.
