I asked yesterday at a German LV boutique and the SA didn't know of any certain price increase (yet!).
I got my name on the waiting list for a Pochette Metis and she said whatever happens, I will only pay the price at which I ordered.... So just in case I made a screenshot of the bag on the LV site, haha...

Maybe you can try to make a reservation at a store close to you and tell them you have no time to pick it up before the 5th and you don't like to order online cause you wanna see the bag in person... Maybe that will work regarding keeping the "old" price?! I don't know..
