Beautiful choice--I've always thought the Campana is the most beautifully designed bag BV has. The woven leather is very lightweight but the weaving makes it incredibly strong. It's not delicate at all. Many women still carry 30 year old BV's that still look incredibly current and in mint condition.

Congratulations on your baby!
