That's part of the reason I returned my V NF. The canvas seemed thinner than my 1-year-old GM NF. Also the texture is less "pebbled" if you know what I mean. Just seemed lacking in quality to me. But still so beautiful!

I went to check again, and seriously my V is thicker than my mon mono.
So two possible interpretations: I got lucky on V, or my mon mono is a dud.
