Louis Vuitton MC Speedy Dilemma

Looks like my older thread has been renewed! I actually did sell it back to Louis Vuitton. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse ;) The bag had been sitting in my closet for years and as much as I loved it, it made no sense to keep it any longer. My daughter has no interest for me to pass on. Impeccable, except for the discoloration which I worried would only worsen and lessen it's value. It was gorgeous though! I do have a couple other pieces from the multicolor collection, but not any as glamorous as this piece.

Thanks for your input ! I just realized the discoloration on my purse truly like new. Did LV give you a hard time returning ?

I originally brought it in for repair, and after leaving it with them for a few days they contacted me and said they couldn't repair as they didn't have the materials and then offered the buy back. I knew the discoloration was an issue but never saw it on my bag until the last time I had looked and that's when I decided to bring it in for repair.

Thanks this has been really helpful. I really hate to pry so much but did they give you a store credit? If so was it your original purchase price or today’s value price ? My bag was bought in 2004 what I paid then for it would be way more now !
