So far I have like 10'000 points in 2007. Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have a $200 gift card I can use towards my lv purchase. I want a speedy in damier.

This is an old thread, I know, but I didn't want to start a new a new thread for my question. I am thinking of purchasing my first LV for my upcoming b-day (or at least telling DH to buy it for me!) and I thought that we may as well try to get the 10% discount for opening a Saks credit card, but I am not sure whether the 10% discount applies to LV products when you open a Saks card. Does anyone know? TIA!

Sorry, the 10% does not apply at LV. It does work at Chanel!

Well, that sucks. Although I just did a live chat with a saks rep online and she said that the 10% new cardholder discount applies to everything, including LV, so now I'm confused!

your best bet is to call the store you are interested in purchasing at and ask. I know the new cardholder discount doesn't work on dior bags (or at least that is what the SA in NYC told me).

^ I just called and learned that at least at my local saks, the 10% discount doesn't apply to LV. Oh well. I guess I'll just buy it from eluxury to avoid tax!

Go on the vuitton.com website. You can check where any LV store is by state and also the boutique stores that are inside department stores. Since you didn't mention what state you are in, this would be the easiest way to look up your info.
