I have both mini and reverse - got both on lv website. I like this size and with handles. The petite one is heavy to wear as crossbody and I only use it with handles.
I go shopping with the mini. I put a few items in it that I may need for a shopping trip to a mall, grocery store or lunch/dinner. It is functional. I am waiting for Zoe wallet and I think I can use it too instead of the card holder.
Compare the prices between nano $1450 and min $2040, I think money is better off spent on mini than nano . Nano is more like coin purse and too big to wear as a necklace. Hope it helps.

I Love them both and yes I can afford to keep them, but I will probably return the Boite Chapeau necklace, IMO it is way too small to even hold a thing, but as a display piece with my Vivienne, a bag charm, or a coin pouch, it is fantastic! If it only had come with a clip instead of a super long chain! Perfect !! LOL !! The trunk I am willing to keep - the workmanship is incredible, (and I am not a huge fan of the size or boxiness of the Petite Malle), I think making these "salesman samples" is really a work of art - not everyone can justify these pieces at the price, so that may not be for you, but they are not made in large quantities so therefore you will not see these on the masses. Even if you have them as a display with your collection - I think it just adds to the beauty, and if it brings you joy, but that's luxury decadence at its finest. Where as the Speedy and Metis is everywhere and affordable to most.

I have the essential trunk and I really like it. I’m a crazy micro bag lady and make it a personal mission to collect micro versions of bags I like. I have the balenciaga micro keychain bags, Delvaux ones, a Chanel one, and this one is the most useful
The essential trunk is quite useful, it honestly is like a half wallet/ half card case on chain to me. It fits my phone charger + cables, cards, and cash, basically all I really need for a night out.

I love the boite chapeau necklace personally! I was wondering if anyone knows if a credit card will fit inside of it?

The Boite Chapeau necklace is more like a coin holder. The mini boite can hold cards and more. I use the essential trunk like a mini wallet. Can hold several cards and cash. I have been considering the mini boite myself since it can fit other essentials like chapstick, keys, small hand sanitizer.
