@mousdioufe If you love it, and it brings you joy, keep it! Only you will know if this is a piece you want to keep and enjoy. However, if you are posting this question, it means you are uncertain. Perhaps try it on with a few more outfits and also try to envision some future outings where you would use this handbag?

I have eccentric tastes and the handbags I keep & use (some are old!) aren't everyone's cup of tea. They're my treasures though, and the deep contentment and satisfaction that comes with them being with me, cannot be replaced. :D

I personally love this print (I just bought the comics sunglasses case), however with that being said, I'm not a big fan of it on a larger item like a handbag. I look at this bag, and it just looks too child-like to me. I do agree that it's a fun and whimsical print, but like I said, in smaller doses (like an slg) is more my cup of tea for this print. I would return. It's a lot of money for you to be questioning it.

I originally when to get the wallet but it was sold out

I adoreee this print. If I didn’t already have a soft trunk, I would buy this. My only concern was that for the price point it being canvas, it was a hard sell.

It looks as if it fits your essential so it’s practical. I think the real question is does it fit with your every day sense of style. Do you like whimsy? Do you dress pretty adventurous? Or do you dress neutral and utilize your handbags to be that pop that you need?

Although it’s not Virgil, it’s a Virgil-esque so I think that’s the main draw to the collection. I’m still definitely trying to find a piece from this collection and I’m pretty sure down the line this will hold value if that’s a concern as well.

I may be talking out of my arse as I’m not yet 40 but I feel like 40s/50s could be an odd stage for whimsy. You feel like you can get away with it in your 20s and early 30s. By your 60s you likely don’t give a crap if other people think it’s childish. That middle period you’re more likely to be at a stage where you feel more pressured to be more professional, formal or conservative looking.

However, my handbag collection is very bright and whimsical and I don’t really see that changing. I don’t have black and I definitely don’t have any variation of cream or beige. This would fit right in and I wouldn’t hesitate to keep it if I loved it. So it comes down to:

Does it spark joy? Or is there more regret in there?

How often can you imagine wearing it, and if it’s not often, does that bother you? For some people that’s the number one concern; for others, having an item is more important than using it. For me, I’d want a bag I could use, but I’m ok with having a cheaper SLG just to look at (I just bought a LE [non-LV] wallet that I have no intention of using; it’s just for admiring, like the paintings and ceramics and other art things I have).

I think it's a great bag, and I'm close to your age (older)! Life is short - make yourself happy!

ETA: Love you card holder too!

Need advice, what do you all think of this bag? Yeah or nah? I am on the fence. I love the print and the fact that is really different from anything I own but then I am scared to get buyer remorse in the long run. Keep it or return it?

You’re “on the fence” you said. Which means you don’t love it. And if you have to ask to convince yourself you’re not on the fence, return.

If you love the bag and think you'll wear it, keep it! I always ask myself in these situations if I love the bag because it's designer or do I like the whimsy aspect. Would I have bought it at TJMaxx? If not, return it.
