I kind of like it. I think it's edgy and whimsical. Plus LV calls it a trunk, but it's a really camera bag style and it fits all the essentials.

How much is it? I think that's the deciding factor.

With these limited editions, you never know. Some are real hits years down the road, some are misses. But in the meantime, how much will you wear it? Bottomline is how much you love it. Give it a few more days.

The bag is $3400, i really love the print, remind me of the 90’s, but again I bought a Alma patches a few years ago and end up selling it because I wasn’t wearing it and felt like a teenager wearing it. I just don’t want this to happen again. I am going on 50.

Hmmm...I totally understand. I gravitate towards more classic styles too as I get older, I'm mid 40s.

But I know I would never get rid of my Stephan Sprouse Roses Neverfull.

And, well for that price, (and I am also a Chanel/ Hermes girl), I would get a Chanel camera bag in black or a pop of color, which I know I will use a lot. Or, I would pool all my yearly handbag allocation towards a pre-loved Hermes 30 birkin. So in this case, if I were you, I'd pass.

You have a point, I haven’t looked at Chanel camera bags. Love Stephen Sprouse roses, stunning bag for sure.

I’m not a fan. I think they’re losing their minds over there at LV. If you want something whimsical you can probably find something less expensive and maybe use your money for a more classic piece?

I know that from spending time on other threads that people really like this bag and are having trouble getting it. It may up being a desirable collector’s item.

That being said, I personally am not a fan. I like fun and quirky at times but for me this is a lot of money to spend for a bag that I would only see myself wearing a few times a year and then likely not much at all.

You also mentioned selling an Alma patches a few years ago. Do you think that you will get more wear out of this bag? Does this go with a lot of your outfits? It looks great with the casual outfit that you are wearing. You have shown what fits in it. Is this the perfect size bag for you? If it is then I think that you might get a lot of use out of it. If not, you probably also would not end up reaching for it often. With bags I learned that size does make a difference. Maybe all of this doesn’t matter to you and you would just like it as a collector’s piece that you could wear only on occasion.

@mousdioufe I hope I am not coming off as negative, just offering some perspective.

I can be into fun and whimsical but something about this line doesn’t fully resonate with me. I think it’s maybe too much white (which I get that there needs to be a lighter color so the print shows). Idk, not fully digging it.

No no!!! Thank you so so much for taking time to respond! Trying to take everything into Consideration, like you said I would only wearing a few times and probably leave it in my closet as a collector.

You have to like it but I was not a fan of this collection. I would be afraid I would get tired of it quickly..I do like the soft trunk style though..
That my concern too, to get tired of the print

I love it. It is different from the everyday bag and that makes it fun.
Nothing like that in my closet for sure lol

The voice of reason, I know you are probably right and that why I end up
Posting the question.

I did think that too especially for the strap

I personally am not a fan, but it only matters what you think. If you love it, go for it
Thank you

My experience is that if I am already questioning a bag when I bring it home, then I will always have doubts and won't carry it. It's a lot of money to be uncertain!!
Right!
