I agree with you completely. I compared my cherry canvas bags with the CB canvas bag and the cherry ones are def much more sturdier. I have no plan of returning the CB one though

For that this is ok. A tad bigger would be even better. I adore your PM ew! But it is shorter than the Ivy, so I guess this one might be better for me, though I think the PM ew is more balanced in design with the more interesting flap.

My bags usually don‘t get superfast usage signs, even when I use them often. I think reasonable care is enough. Even my most abused Mon Monogram Speedy B has not any rub offs and it came with me everywhere for 9 years now. And it even has to endure floors. 😏

Yes, actually using and enjoying our bags is a great pleasure for most of us here!! It can be a bit nerve-wracking to use a new one, or one that seems fragile, but life is short, use the bag!! I did make the comparison in my head when I saw the Ivy in store. It holds about the same amount as the Chanel WOC. The idea is you put all your cards in the slots and just a phone inside the WOC and a lipstick or keys. Very similar bags. They are more evening bags.
The magnetic closure makes it impossible to squeeze in more stuff. I so wish it's more like a Pochette Accessories.
Yes indeed, can be evening bags, though sometimes for a long day of shopping a small bag suits so well rather than a heavy bag that wears you out faster! I would actually wear my WOC or an Ivy on a dog walk, as it would hold plenty for me. I do know I struggle with WOC sizes sometimes, but the Ivy at least has a fairly open compartment.
