I appreciate this. I’m so torn

I’ve been in the mode of “life is short, buy/wear the bag!!!” Of course Murakami madness was a great reason/excuse? to do that. Ban island should be full, but I stopped by last night and it was VERY quiet 🤓

In all seriousness I’m doing what I can to protect the inside of my bags, and the outside of white bags, and I’m just wearing how and when I want. It’s very freeing, though I’ve always worn my bags without being too precious, something about white canvas makes a bit of a difference. Now that I’ve protected them I’m just going for it. Folks, I have a dilemma. A real big one and some of you will actually want to hit me with a baseball bat.....

After owning the cherry NF for over a week, I haven't used it. I have tried both bandeaus and took pictures and imagined places where I will carry it, but I haven't used it. The cherries freak me out, I'm stressed it will bubble or scratch or pieces will fall off.....

You know, we all know when you purchase a bag and you don't use it immediately, that's a bad sign. I worry this will be a bag sitting in my closet unused for years. What then? Also, I know I will never come across another brand new TM cerise handbag. What to do? Exchange it for something I will use? But it's not that special?

A few other handbags on my wishlist:
1. Boho speedy 30.
2. Crafty speedy 30.
3. Grey denim speedy 30.
3. Blue denim NF.

I would keep that NF! I think in yrs to come you will be haunted by it and really regret giving it up.

I tried it on and am sorry I didnt buy it on the spot (I may ask my CA to order it). For some reason, I think the cherries look the best and really work on that big bag and I really like the silhouette when the sides are cinched in. Unlike some of the other bags, that NF looks EXPENSIVE when it is over your shoulder! It doesnt have to be an everyday bag to be in your collection. My Kusama NF only comes out on special occasions since the fuzzy faces will wear off if Im not careful, but I still love it. The cherries arent looking fragile so your NF should be fine for moderate use.

Im finding for car trips and occassions when I need a tote that Im using my Kusama OTG MM more than my NFs. The boxy rectangular shape makes it easier for me to find things when Im traveling. I am kicking myself for not buying last yrs flight mode GM OTG with the travel stamps in that special waxy canvas. My CA told me to do it and I didnt listen 🙄.

So you already know I had the cherry NF & returned it. I've also had the denim NF & just returned it.
My head was also whirling all over the place thinking have I made a mistake returning the cherry NF. Should I repurchase it? But I then realised it was just FOMO. If I had truly loved it I wouldn't have returned it in the first place. For me the cherries are just too much on such a large bag. Too much print on an already printed bag. I love all the smaller accessories. I have the passport cover which I adore. I also worried about how the cherries would wear over time. I wasn't happy with the plain pouch or the fact there were no cherries on the bottom of the bag. But these are just my opinions & I know many people have & love this bag. I feel like I wanted to own & love it because t was likely to become something sought after in years to come. Although that said I wonder if it has been that popular as its still available to purchase over a month since its release.

As much as I loved the denim NF, like you I had looked at it, imagined carrying it, yet nothing I wore or seemed to go with it. I have very dark hair almost black & have come to the conclusion that as much as I love lighter colour bags, they just don't seem to suit me.
I therefore today purchased the Monogram & black inside out NF & hope that the third times a charm & this will be my perfect NF 🤗

I have also been eyeing up the Speedy 30's. I really want to add a Speedy to my small collection of LV bags but wonder if the 25 size would be best. I love the Boho Speedy & also the Speedy 30 dark.

I wish you luck with you're decision. Take a couple more days to think about it. If I were to pick a bag from your numbers 1-4 I would pick the Speedy Hobo. I wish they would sell that beaded charm separately. I think thats the main reason I love that bag

Honestly I would return it for the denim neverfull and use it. Also I see the cherry neverfull available on the us website maybe it’s not as hot as we think.

Yes wear them and enjoy them!!! I had the white MC Alma on yesterday with very dark denim jeans and was just mindful of this and carried it instead of crossbody-ing it.

For me personally not using a bag right away isn't a sign I don't love it. I bought a bag last year november and never used it but still I know it will be the perfect bag for special occassions and I wouldn't think about selling it. Some bags just need an occassion to be used (at least for me). I also don't understand the fear of the cherries falling of, I didn't read the thread thoroughly so not sure if there are complaints like that already, but I understood it's the same type of process done with the Kusama dots bags and all I've read is those hold up perfectly.

I would only return if you're not going to regret it. And maybe this will be a bag you won't use daily, but to me that's not perse a bad thing. I have pretty bags and work horse bags

I think you’re RIGHT. The idea of surrendering my cherry NF for something else actually makes me ill. So I have to keep it!!!

Keep it and enjoy it. You probably haven't had an opportunity to use it yet. I recently purchased a Catogram NF that I regretted not buying originally. I still havent used it, but I know I will (and I love the bag)🐭🐱🐶

When I returned my Cherry Speedy due to flaws I decided to regroup and focus on something else instead. I realised I wasn’t that disappointed anyway and I couldn’t be bothered with a further chase and possible new issues. It was Drop 1 that I really wanted and I’d got the pieces I desired. Somewhere along the path, I got carried away.
So, I moved on and I’ve set my sights on P9 as this will work better for my lifestyle and get more use. I think you should perhaps consider returning and getting something else too. If you have doubts now consider acting on them whilst you don’t have to resell and can get a refund.

Curious how you’re protecting the inside? Are you using organizers or do you spray the inside too?

Thank you for your candid answer. I called up my other CA and asked about return and possible exchange for another bag. She told me not to panic and just come into the store and really try on all the possibilities. I think my wishlist is all possible so I will do that soon.

It sounds like you aren’t quite ready to make a decision so take some more time. You have some lovely alternative bags on your list for consideration, so you have back up plans if you decide to return.
I’d place the bag in my living room (out of reach of any children or dogs!) and expose myself to it a lot, you might get your answer that way. Are you tiring of the pattern and looking at it or do you want to pick it up and take it out?
I know I won’t use my white m.c nano much (due to barely any sun or dry days at all in the UK) but it would kill me to return, so it stays and it will get out if and when the weather picks up 🙏 The black one however, I grab and go. Some things work better for us than others 😆and that’s ok as long as we are at peace with it.

I figure any white bag is at risk for color transfer, that’s why I treated mine and have a wipe with me jic. These lovely bags are meant to be worn, and somehow with them stain protected I feel just fine wearing them. All of us here worked too hard and stressed too much not to wear them!!🍒❤️
