So true. When you meet an artist, it's not like he/she will just be wiling to sign/ draw for you. Maybe this is staged, or maybe he's just in a very good mood. I don't know. But this bag is no longer a bag, it can be auctioned at a very good price in the future.

Do you actually use the silks? I have one 90cm silk scarf from Dior that I wore as a top one summer and that was the first and last time I bought a scarf.

The 3 murakami silks are to be framed for my house. I use my H silks in my hair, sometimes as bracelets to accessorise a plain outfit, tie it onto a belt loop of my jeans sometimes for some movement, tied on my bags and wear them on my neck during my travels. I'm at purse peace so silks and shoes are my current go to purchases.

nah, not staged at all. youve never seen or stood in line for signings? whether for artists, authors, athletes, etc.? they're paid for the appearance. people bring items like skate decks, caps, shirts, photos, posters, etc. A friend has gifted me post card scribbles from murakami at such signings in the past.
this looks like it was at complexcon in hong kong over the weekend. not only did they release more of his slides and slippers (in a "cherry blossom" colorway, but he was signing stuff as part of the phone case preview/launch.

I think the Speedy 20 @Plus Sized Luxury, I'm going for the trifecta at this stage lol ...I picked up my Cherry blossom Speedy 25 today and she's a beauty and I really love my white mc Speedy 25 so much. I don't have a 20 in my collection, so hopefully I can grab this cherries one, but would love to see better pics like all of us in here x

Well the leaks from CB were pretty spot on so I’m assuming so will the cherries but guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Very accurate! The bag models shown where all right, just the placement of the prints wans't accurate on the leaked pics.

I cannot confirm, but from all the searches I've done, I think it will be a speedy 20. I know, so wish it were a 25.

Yup, there's a ton of action in HK this week for HK Art Week. ArtBasel and ComplexCon are both on. Amazing that Murakami is there!! Wonder where else he will exhibit this year, and i bet his profile is soaring even higher now thanks to the LV collab this year.
