This is the Murakami drop I was most looking forward to but so far I'm underwhelmed with what I've seen so far. I was hoping for a reedition of the Speedy 25 but so far it doesn't look like that's coming out. I don't like the Speedy 20 and I'm not a fan of the white pieces or the denim. The side trunk looks cool but I'm not sure if I'd love using that bag or not. If it's noisy it'll drive me bonkers.

Maybe a French speaker can confirm but isn't it either "key pouch" (English) or "pochette cles" (French) - right? "Key cles" is basically saying "key key"? Just curious!
Cles is key and pochette is pouch. “Key cles“ is saying the same word in two languages, if that was the question…

Well, in my honest, genuine, humble opinion, Coach did it better with their *FIRST* pass at cherries too. Just as LV seems to have moved from their old cherries-on-mono versions, to these "large red cherries on white", so too did Coach make a similar jump. And I say this not just in defense of Coach, but because it is my honest opinion, and I actually treasure my older version of Coach cherries.

Back in 2017 (I know the date as I picked this out for my bday that year), when Coach was hosting the "special 1941 boutique line," they had a few bags with a much daintier, much more intricate print that flew right off the shelves. It was a big hit, and when they came out with these newer bags (white leather with much bigger cherries), I honestly did not think of LV at first. I thought Coach was trying to recreate the success of their older, 2017 offerings.

But like I said, Coach also hit the mark better on their first go-round. Or at least I think so. The "1941 boutique line" was fully leather-lined (and I do mean this was thick, soft calfskin, with soft calfskin lining 🥰), it had built-in metal kiss-lock pouches inside the bags, strap attachment loops that folded neatly down into the bag if you didn't want to use them, special metal-hubbed and cherry printed tags, a glimmery yet subtle glitter to spots on the cherries, and even a hint of glimmer in the special glazing. I mean they showed real attention to detail in that 1941 line, as opposed to just white with giant red cherries everywhere. I grabbed a couple pictures of my beloved bag, because I don't think my description does justice. I'm careful with her, and sparing with her, but she does catch attention when I have her out. ........ So in summary, yes, I agree this new LV attempt looks a lot like this latest Coach attempt. Unnervingly so, actually. But just as some might say LV did better the first time, so too might people remark about Coach's first attempt. Why everyone is shifting to such giant cherries, I have no idea.

Can I throw this out there:

ALL cherry on white background prints are cayoooooooot prints! :hbeat:

... I might be bias with the 5+ HVN cherry print dresses hanging in my closet though, heehee.

I'm not sure what cayoot means  but I also like the white background cherry bags. In general I adore white bags so I'm very interested to see the final HD pics, I'm definitely considering getting something. I already bought a tshirt with cherry's on them to match a potential bag

I saw those Coach cherry bags 2 years ago in an outlet in South Korea and tried them on, I remember thinking to myself "if it was LV I would have bought it" :giggle:

Totally! and It's not like I turn blind eye on coach and other brands but LV cherries are not just ordinary cherries, they're Murakami's cherries. He created these happy faces after wwII to remind people flowers ( and cherries ) are still happy. :hbeat:

I photoshopped the Speedy 20 without the bow to see if it would pique my interest.

First version with Cherries according to the leak.

Second version is what I would prefer (Cherries cut-off on the sides in the middle, otherwise it looks like something's missing like in the leak pic).

Beautiful renditions. Thank you so much. 20 is cute but a tad too small. My favorite speedy size is the 25. Are we sure there isn't going to be one? Arghhhhh.....

I was trying to exaggerate how cute (cayoooot) a cherry on white background print is, hahahaha.

It is a ridiculously adorable print that gets me (almost) every time from every brand.

I only realized that Coach had this print right now because I was traveling and the airport Coach store had them on display... they almost got the sale since I walked my dog around the terminal and passed the store like 13 times and each time the bags got cuter and cuter, LOLOL.

(Message with DH from those walks... my sanity of traveling with the dog was retail-therapy testing me, LOL)

aww, it seems you feel the way about cherry prints, the way I feel about lemon print clothes. I really love a black or white item of clothing with sunny yellow lemons and green leaves. I passed on a flattering dress with such a print about 7-8 years ago (because it was the last one and a tiiight fit) and I still think about it from time to time. If only it had been available one size larger.

I had that exact flap purse from this range!!! And regretfully sold it! The cerises reminded me of this collection, too  glad you have a special piece from this Coach range!

I remember it also came in black leather, with purple glitter cherries. You're right, the quality is exceptional, it was all glovetanned leather, i believe.
