Hope we can both get it with our contacts! I’m considering the passport holder too…but I don’t really travel that much and I did consider getting the normal one...actually the bandeau I’m not sure yet..white with red is nice..but denim maybe abit “heavy”..Actually the PA is really nice but with the price it’s prob better getting a bag..so I think I will just admire the unboxings from the tpf members heee…the speedy 30 soft denim with the red handles is just

Where else were random exhibits of his artworks in Tokyo?I really appreciate being able to chat about these things, too. Just got back from Japan and saw parts of Murakami collection and popups, plus random exhibits of his artwork at non LV sites.
For an artist to make art that is a commentary on mass consumption, that is then mass consumed across the world.. love it!! Then with the original inspiration also including those deep cultural references to Otaku culture, nature, trauma, rebirth, and spirituality- i think it's fascinating! Don't know if I'll end up buying anything, but always love checking out the context behind the artists' pieces. Murakami's work is now reminding me of Sun Yitian, with her pop animals that nearly everyone on the forum seemed to disdain last yearbut the significance of her work has some striking parallels actually. And Park Seobo too, with his Paper works last year for the Men's Epi range. (I loved the animals, btw!)
Ok enough babble from me, but really happy to hear if there's more insight into all thisI do enjoy the pieces more this way!
The only bag I like immediately is the Side Trunk. Looking forward to see HR pics of that one as it could be an option for me. I don't have a Side Trunk yet, no idea if it's a comfy bag to wear and easy to open. Need to do a little research for the Trunk.
Speedy looks weird IMO with the cerises in the middle missing on the sides. Like it's not complete.
Would have looked so much better with smaller cerises wrapped around the bag. The big cerises on the Alma are just out of proportion IMO. Too big for the size of the bag. Black Capucines are nice (won't buy, but I think they look nice...classic with a twist).
As for the denim, I could see myself trying to order a denim cerise scarf. I kind of like the denim PA and the Sunset, but the price point is probably going to be more than I would feel comfortable with to spend on a denim bag. Also, are the cerises printed or embroidered? Printed cerises might not the best option for denim 🤔.
Fashion jewelry looks like something that could be found at Kate Spade but at a much better price point. Same goes for the white bags with cerises, Coach currently also has white bags with cerises for those who are craving the cerises but don't like to spend the $$$$ that LV is asking. Or for those who don't want to go through all the hassle again as with the MC Murakami launch .
However, if this is everything for the cerises launch, I'm sure it won't have the same success as the current Murakami drop. Not even close.

Obviously I meant the first/current Murakami drop. That one will be/is the most successful out of the 3 drops IMO.
I agree I think the denim scarf will be fab. That may be the only thing I am pumped for. Also, i’m a little bit worried for the price of the denim stuff with cherries. We shall see.
