Dear all,
first of all Happy Easter
I just signed up in this forum because I have a problem with my LV speedy B 30 and hope someone of you can help me with it.
The bag is quite new, I just bought it around 4-5 months ago. I spotted white stripes all over the bag. It seems like the canvas is damaged? It is getting more and more over the time. So it looks like the canvas peels off somehow? I have no idea how or why it happened and I´ve never seen something like this before on my other bags. I also tried to wash it off, when the material is wet it disappears but whet it dries it comes back.
Does anyone of you had this problem so far?:confused1::confused1::confused1:
Please send help.
Thank you.

I would not try to do anything to this bag. I would bring it to the LV store and have them take a good look at it. I think you need LV to check to see if it is a defect in the canvas.

I used a q-tip and rubbing alcohol on mine LIGHTLY .... do not douse, dip the q-tip ever so slightly into the rubbing alcohol and then put it to the canvas and like rub around. Repeat like an hour later if needed. Too much alcohol will dry the canvas out. That's why you just spot clean it and use sparingly. I did it and it worked for me, I had the same white residue!

Could you have spilled hand sanitizer on it? I've seen a lot of posts about that happening recently in light of the virus. I don't know if there is anything that can be done to repair it if that's the case.

It looks like it would come off with a wipe or a damp cloth. I've noticed similar marks occasionally, and I've always been able to remove them. Wiping the canvas gently won't damage it, it's very durable.
